I found Dr Thayer to be very knowledgable, very understanding, and very clear about his diagnosis, treatment plan, and the risks associated to surgery. This was the first time I had ever experienced surgery, but my mind was put at ease by the professional and helpful staff. The doctor and the supporting staff all knew what they were doing. The recovery after surgery was just as the doctor described it would be. Now, one year on, I am very happy with my new knee.
