Dr. Doubek is a misogynist who thinks women who use birth control are sluts..., Mar 2, 2012 From: Michael Doubek Date: Thu, Mar 1, 2012 at 2:37 AM Subject: You'd be surprised To: Me I'm a Board-Certified ER doc, and I totally agree with Rush. I'm sick of paying excessive taxes so these sluts can screw every horny loser who buys them a drink. If she's too cheap to buy her own birth control, and doesn't insist of her partner using a condom, and gets knocked-up, she shouldn't expect others to pay for her medical bills. The federal govt. extorts money from us taxpayers, and PAYS her to have the little bastard. I say, if she can't pay her bills, she should be arrested, and the baby be adopted. This country has NO accountability, and over 1/3 of Americans are living on money they don't themselves earn. It must stop. Welfare whores need to pay their bills, like the rest of us. Maybe this opinion hits a little too close to your home... http://jezebel.com/5889719/crap-email-from-a-dude-rush-limbaugh-fanboy-extravaganza-edition |

Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012 DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. His coordinator responded that he would not do the surgery until he got |

Provided extremely poor treatment for my father's cancer..., Jan 25, 2012 Dr. D. treated my dad's throat cancer (a term he never used with any of us). Dad responded very well to chemo and would have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. (His tumor in his neck had burst and he had a nasty wound that he had to deal with, but even it was doing well as he was switched to a milder chemo routine to keep the cancer from growing. And he was doing really well with that treatment.) Dad developed a knee infection and Dr. D stopped all treatment until knee doc released him. Dr. D continued to ignore my phone calls that dad's neck wound was really looking bad, saying he could do nothing for him at this time. Finally, knee doc suggested knee treatment be put on hold so cancer could be treated. So Dad went to see Dr. D and he still said there wasn't anything he could do right now, and he refused to look at his neck when asked to (of course, dad kept it bandaged). We brought dad to Louisville for treatment, but it was too late by then. The oncology doctors in Louisville were just mortified at his neck and the treatment he had received. They found it unimaginable that Dr. D. never looked at his neck (the actual cancer) and ignored his cancer treatment during the course of treatment of the knee infection (9 weeks approximately). Of course, we are heartbroken. I only tell my story in the hopes of helping someone else. In the end, dad regretted mine and my sister's pleas to get a second opinion in Louisville from the beginning. That one step could have changed everything. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice in choosing their oncologist. |

Narcissistic doctor won't release patients to see other doctors..., Jan 7, 2012 Reviews of the practice showed that another doctor there had a higher rating, so I wanted to see this other doctor. I was flat out told NO, I am not allowed to see any other doctor at the practice than Karen Bader because that was the first doctor I ever saw in the practice. |
