Mistreated patients, is under investigation, and resigned..., Feb 1, 2011 He mistreated patients, and is under investigation at Duke. He resigned from Duke and admitted his quackery. Check the records. Hundreds of patients trusted him, and he betrayed that trust. He will lose his medical license.

We miss him very much. Duke and he were of great help to us...., Jan 19, 2011 He was wonderful and we could call him at anytime and expect answer to our questions. He took as much time as we needed to help us at each visit. We have been seeing Dr. Potti for more than 3 years, loved him dearly, and we miss him sorely.

Anil Potti is a fraud. He resigned from Duke for misconduct...., Jan 17, 2011 Anil Potti published fraudulent data, mistreated patients and resigned from Duke University. Google "Anil Potti" and "Duke" and/or "Baggerly" to read more about it. No patient should go to him for care.

Dr. Keto is a Fantastic Doctor. I would highly recommend her...., Feb 21, 2012 Dr. Keto is a compassionate doctor who is and excellent surgeon and is obviously very concerned about her patients. She called me personally to talk about options for my breast cancer treatment and I always felt empowered to make decisions that were best for me. I could not be more pleased with the care I received. Even my husband, who is skeptical and mistrustful of doctors, was extremely impressed with all of our interactions. Breast cancer is really tough to deal with but Dr. Keto helps to educate and inform patients while also providing a warm, caring environment. |

Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012 DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. Dr Betsy August........................... Horrible!..., Nov 29, 2011 I have seen Dr August a few times. Each time was unpleasant. Dr August does not take the time to listen to her patients nor does she help you with your concerns, and rushes right out of the room. Needless to say I will no longer be seeing her! |
