Wouldn't send my worst enemy to him or his staff. Avoid at all cost!..., Feb 17, 2012 I've been to lots of doctors in my time, but "Doctor Carter" (if he so can be called) is the worst. Not even a close second. He spent roughly 15 minutes in the room with me, in which, 10 of those minutes were him typing my information into a computer. Never even listened to my symptoms, just typed. Also, I had to argue endlessly with his nurse to write me a higher amount of my prescription, even after my insurance had agreed to a higher amount. She was just too lazy to write it, or confirm with the insurance company. Stay away if you care about your health! His staff is equally useless. I requested my lab results 4 TIMES before they sent them out 1 MONTH later. It's sad, but he has jaded me to the medical profession. If you don't care about people, why become a doctor?

Great attention! She is very kind and her staff too..., Apr 7, 2012 I was refered by a friend. I got lost and i was late, i called them and they told me how to get there very nicely. I didnt wait that much in the waiting room. Her staff is very helpfull and professional. When she entered the room she quickly ask me what i had and review it. She called another doctor to have a second agree for what she thought i had. I got dizzy she quickly lay me over and gave me a candy. I dont know what i have in my neck, they need to have the test answers. She is great! i recomend her to all of you!! :) |

Arrogant & Rude, don't waste your hard-earned $ with this guy!..., Mar 30, 2012 I would absolutely NOT go back to see this guy; he's the epitome of the stereotypically arrogant, rude doctor. When he enters the room, he doesn't even say a simple "hello" or even look at you, for that matter--he simply sits down at the computer with his back turned & begins to brusquely ask questions. I believe in common courtesy--so when I politely asked if he always does this, he replied, "I'm just trying to get to this back pain issue...do I come off as standoffish?" When I answered yes, there was no apology--just a, "Well, it might be a problem for YOU, but that's just the way it is." I was speechless, like WOW. I told him there'd be no need for treatment, promptly left and called my credit card company to dispute my copay charge as soon as I got home. Docs, your years of med school don't give you carte blanche to act like a**holes...especially when we're paying you our hard-earned money! |

Fair doctor good bedside manor but not so sure about his skill level...., Feb 29, 2012 Upon arriving as a new patient I knew that there was going to be lots of paperwork as a new patient. I waited for over an hour after my appointment time just to be told that he was running behind. After my meeting with the Dr, I was very impressed with his professionalism, but not sure that he is the Dr. that I am looking for to treat my problems. I feel that he rushed the appointment after waiting a long time for him. |

Staff does not call to alert patients of problems. ..., Jan 19, 2012 After 5 years as a patient, I made one late payment. The payment was in excess of $100.00 despite my usual $40.00 co-pay. Maybe Dr Leon's staff didn't submit to Aetna. I paid anyway. Months later, they refused to renew a refill and told me that I needed to pay cash for appointments now. They never contacted me about this. Rather, they let me run out of medication and then refused to refill. I had to miss classes that day and find a new GI. My GP was nice enough to authorize enough medication over the phone (on good faith that my labs had been good lately, which they were) until the visit with my new GI. That was lucky, many GPs won't do that, and I am currently stuck with ASU's GPs. Dr Leon's actions were negligent and unethical. I am looking into what legalities this may violate, and will press charges. To this date, Dr Leon had shown himself to be a fine physician, but this incident is unforgivable. His staff had always been a little dodgy. One of his staff tole me she would talk to Dr Leon to see if he would use a little discretion in this instance. I doubt that she did. |
