I recommend Dr. Montalbano all the time. In fact he just did a very new procedure on my son (which ..., Mar 16, 2012 Prior to my total knee replacement, the pain level was constantly between a 7-10. I was walking with a cane because my knee was constantly hurting me. Going up and down stairs was almost impossible. I was being woken up during the night from the knee pain and therefore was not getting a restful night’s sleep. I tried to exercise as much as possible but it was difficult. I started to become somewhat of a hermit because when you can’t walk you really can’t do much. I was starting to have to take time off of work because of the pain. Activitites that I lived doing, (dancing, racquet ball, walking) I wasn’t able to do any longer. I have been using Dr. Montalbano for over 10 years. I first saw him at Bayley Seton Hospital when he was taking care of another patient in the pre-op area. I was so impressed with how he was treating that patient that when he left I asked the woman who he was. Later on when I needed an orthopedist I went to see him and have been using him ever since. As far as office staff goes – I have never had a problem. Always courteous, polite, very informative, helpful and respectful of your privacy. (Even though I scheduled surgeries and cancelled them I was always treated the same.) Dr. Montalbano and his staff are always up on the latest surgical techniques, surgical procedures and treatments. Waiting time is usually not too long. When I would call in with any questions, someone always got back to me in a very reasonal amount of time. After finally scheduling the surgery, that I actually went through with, Dr. Montalbano and Michelle Pokrassa (RPA) went over the surgical procedure and any questions I had they went over with me several times until I felt that I was comfortable with the knowledge. The surgery went so much better than expected. I was so frightened of being in the hospital over a weekend but I have to say that the weekend staff was better than the weekday staff. HORRIBLE courtesy from the RUDEST receptionist I have ever encountered...., Mar 1, 2012 A receptionist has never treated me so rude. Since Dr. Zlobl’s office doesn’t take later afternoon appointments, and I don't get out of work until 4 p.m., I had to put in for sick time in order to leave work early. I also had to secure coverage for my classroom because I am a teacher. Since the person covering for my class ran 5 minutes late, I arrived 7 minutes late to my appointment. The receptionist was extremely rude in telling me we would probably have to re-schedule due to Dr. Zlobl's schedule, and said she called me yesterday and left me a "five minute" message explaining how important it was to be on time. I received NO such message, and when I plainly explained this, the receptionist became snooty and said, "Well, I’m not making it up." Then I realized I HAD received a call yesterday from a number I did not know. This caller did not leave a message. I pulled out my cell phone and asked what the office’s phone number was. She replied that they have 6 different lines. So I told her I would read her the number and asked if she could identify it, and she said, "I don't care." I couldn't believe it!! She didn’t care?!?! When you work with people, it’s imperative that you are empathetic, and Dr. Zlobl’s office proved that they are anything but empathetic. In the business that my husband co-owns, this type of customer service would cause you to lose your job. Needless to say, I left and did not re-schedule an appointment. |

Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable Physician! Great Staff...., Feb 25, 2012 Very caring and knowledgeable. Patients are treated with respect by very well trained staff. State-of-the-art treatment of retinal diseases based on the latest research and scientific breakthroughs. I would not go to any other specialist. |

Dr. Mujahed Ahmed, excellent physician, diagnostician and person. Top rated..., Feb 7, 2012 Dr. Ahmed is a gentleman and cares for his patients in a professional manor. He is always available and personally returns phone calls. His office staff are very helpful and treat each patient with care and compassion. Dr. Ahmed is a good diagnostician, and will continue to work with a patient to find a diagnosis and treatments to help keep his patients healthy. He is a very patient, kind person who truly cares and knows all of his patients. |

Pill Mill - He almost killed my friend and he doesn..., Feb 6, 2012 He almost killed my friend and he doesn't have the courtesy to return my calls! My good friend Dave is hooked on pills and this guy just keeps dishing them out. He prescribed 120 Xanax plus 2 refills knowing Dave is addicted! Yesterday the paramedics took Dave to the hospital for an overdose. The only person in the office I've been allowed to speak to is Maggie. She was rude and had no concern with stopping the pills or finding a solution, just concerned with trying to cover their butt with double talk. |
