  Laziest staff I have ever experienced. No care for patients, just money..., Mar 23, 2012

There is a dark underbelly to the medical profession and never have I seen it so blatantly as in this office. My mother was in Dr. Greenberg's care. I would have to call the office day after day after day to get the simplest things accomplished. It took me a week to get the office to fax over the proper documentation so we could get oxygen. Over a week to get the staff to get a pre-approval on a prescription. Dr. Greenberg herself obviously does not know the laws governing her own profession in NJ because the scripts she wrote for my mothers pain meds were unacceptable so I had to drive back to the office to get corrected scripts. My mother was too weak to handle chemotherapy but they gave it to her anyway and it put her in the hospice wing of the hospital. Before I called an ambulance the day after her chemo I called the office, told them I was terrified, didn't know what to do and I needed to speak with one of the doctors or nurses. I was told a nurse would call me back immediately. After two hours I called 911 and while I waited for them to arrive the office called me about a referral from the home health nurse. When I told her I was taking mom to the hospital she said "If you have that kind of problem you should call us directly" I told her I had over two hours ago and I couldn't wait for her useless staff any longer. If you use this office, become an expert on cancer and be prepared to do all the work yourself. These people are useless to the nth degree!!!! Due to their laziness, and their lack of care or concern, I am sitting waiting for my mother to die 6 weeks after her diagnosis. The only doctor there worth her salt is Dr. LaNatra and if she were smart she would branch out on her own and hire a competent staff.

Prior to my total knee replacement, the pain level was constantly between a 7-10. I was walking with a cane because my knee was constantly hurting me. Going up and down stairs was almost impossible. I was being woken up during the night from the knee pain and therefore was not getting a restful night’s sleep. I tried to exercise as much as possible but it was difficult. I started to become somewhat of a hermit because when you can’t walk you really can’t do much. I was starting to have to take time off of work because of the pain. Activitites that I lived doing, (dancing, racquet ball, walking) I wasn’t able to do any longer. I have been using Dr. Montalbano for over 10 years. I first saw him at Bayley Seton Hospital when he was taking care of another patient in the pre-op area. I was so impressed with how he was treating that patient that when he left I asked the woman who he was. Later on when I needed an orthopedist I went to see him and have been using him ever since. As far as office staff goes – I have never had a problem. Always courteous, polite, very informative, helpful and respectful of your privacy. (Even though I scheduled surgeries and cancelled them I was always treated the same.) Dr. Montalbano and his staff are always up on the latest surgical techniques, surgical procedures and treatments. Waiting time is usually not too long. When I would call in with any questions, someone always got back to me in a very reasonal amount of time. After finally scheduling the surgery, that I actually went through with, Dr. Montalbano and Michelle Pokrassa (RPA) went over the surgical procedure and any questions I had they went over with me several times until I felt that I was comfortable with the knowledge. The surgery went so much better than expected. I was so frightened of being in the hospital over a weekend but I have to say that the weekend staff was better than the weekday staff. Nazario has no bedside manners. I waited 12 wks. W/serious health issues expressed the urgency and got a cancellation call at 4:56pm the day before my apt. certainly, calling to cancel my appointment the day before had to b a mistake. I went at 8:30am on my appointment (9am). 10 minutes later after check in a clerk comes out to tell me that my appointment was canceled. I'd already changed meetings, took morning off work & I was in urgent need to see her, was she aware? Yes she was. Office Mngr.realized time was slotted I said I was not expecting her to have a diagnosis at first glance, but that she needed to hear my symptoms & I would come back some other time. He had no argument.30 minutes later came back she said no -re-schedule. Total lack of humanity. No even face to face-on a scheduled appointment paper won’t tell a diagnosis. Nurses search for records after the patient signs a release. I was glad to do the legwork and wasted 12 weeks zero regard to my health and to my time

At this point in time I have not had any surgeries. I found out about Dr. Montalbano when I was searching for GHI doctors on the GHI website. Also when I consulted with a workers compensation attorney the told me about Dr. Montalbano’s website and credentials. I have to say my experience over all has been going well with Regional Orthopedics, although I am still experiencing some pain but this is due to the fact that I am waiting on workers comp. to be approved. After all is said and done I am very pleased so far with the staff at regional orthopedics and the staff at peak performance.

I am a white male in my 30s. I was operated on by Dr. McLemore for anal hpv. I do not recommend Dr. McLemore unless you are very desperate. I trusted her too much. She cut me up really bad and caused me unreasonable amounts of pain. She destroyed a lot of healthy tissue and I felt this was unnecessary. She never apologized or admitted that she made a mistake. She was unsympathetic and uncaring toward me when I was distraught and in pain. She was often impatient, cold, antagonistic and stubborn. She didn't seem to care about the pain or anxiety she caused me. She became antagonistic toward me and called me a risk to her practice because I felt I had had complications from the surgery. Some people love her, but I think if you have a bad experience, she will turn against you and become mean and uncaring.
