BOTCHED SURGERY - ZENKERS DIVERTICULECTOMY SURGERY..., Jul 29, 2012 During an outpatient endoscopic Zenker diverticulectomy, Dr. Bentz noted in his Operative Report that the supplied surgical stapler was too large and blocked visualization of the surgical area. However, he elected to continue using the over-sized stapler anyhow. The next day I was readmitted through the ER to the ICU with a perforated esophagus. It took 19 days before my feeding tube and 24/7 antibiotic drip were removed. Dr. Bentz's treatment and bedside manners following the life-threatening incident were nearly as abhorrent as his mid-surgery decision making. I transferred my treatment to an out-of-state doctor at UCLA Medical Center, where I learned the source of my continuing problems was Dr. Bentz's failure to treat for reflux which should have been done preemptively because it is a common post-operative side effect of Zenker diverticulectomy surgery. I highly recommend to avoid using this surgeon.

Wouldn't recomend going to the doctor. Very unsatisfied...., May 16, 2013 Dr. Jeffries was speeding through my appt. She had the tools that she was going to use for my annual visit sitting on a stack of recycled cut into quarters paper that had been written on instead of a sanitary sheet. Her tools were left out in a pen cup with the applicators upward exposed to the air. Her medical waste bin and applicators overflowing and couldn't shut. Lastly, she used the speculum on me, was so rough, she caused me to bleed and then dumped the speculum, blood and all in a hand washing sink. Apparently, I'm not the only one who has experienced this bad practice. I would most certainly not recommend her to anyone. |

My experience with Dr Campbell was not pleasant at all. Didn't seem to want to help. ..., Mar 6, 2013 I would recommend to anyone seeking a Urologist to steer clear of this guy. He spent very little time with us, only interested in reciting canned information. It was clear he was on his own time table, spending little time with us, without allowing any meaningful discussion, he was out the door! He omitted information from ultrasound report and got angry. It seemed he didn't care about his poor level of awarness and about my child's condition. He made speculation about my childs condition without including/reviewing recent lab reports. He had no new recommendations for treatment despite my child's deterorating and cronic condition. Besides doubting the depth of his knowledge, the worst part was his bedside manner. Very unprofessional. |

Excellent psychiatrist-great care without over-medicating..., Jan 19, 2013 Excellent psychiatrist. Provides great care without over-medicating. I worked with a few psychiatrists before her that kept adding medications. She reduced the number of medications I take and I feel much better. |

Awful experience. Dr. suggested disability but refused to complete disability paperwork...., Dec 3, 2012 This Dr suggested I consider going on disabililty on 2 separate occassions. When I agreed, I obtained necessary paperwork and she absolutely refused to complete 1 and a half pages of paperwork and sign it. This paperwork was for my disability insurance from my employer. I followed every single instruction she gave me. She terminated me as a patient. This sent me over the edge and I ended up in a psyche treatement center with suicide attempt. Avoid this "doctor" at all costs. |
