Stay Away from this one-he is using scare tactics...., Oct 12, 2011 I went to this Doctor for a very specific job required test. After a cursory exam he tried to sell me a test that was not required and suggested that he needed to implant a device into my heart that is not indicated for my condition. He also tried to put me on a medication that another Doctor IN HIS OWN PRACTICE had determined was bad for me.

Great surgeon for laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder..., May 25, 2012 Dr. McDearmont did a terrific job and his staff was friendly as well. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. The recovery was seamless and I was back to work in three days! |

bad doc xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx..., Mar 29, 2012 My wife went to him with a kidney infection. He said her uretheal tube was obstructed and he would need to operate. He said a simple operation wit a 6" scar and she would be all better. The scar turned into an 18' scar when we asked why he didn't have a reason. He had put a stint in the tube until it healed. He removed the stint causing my wife extreme pain. She developed a fever and had to be rushed to the E.R. The Doctor in the E.R. suggested we go to the Mayo Clinic. The Doctors there couldn't believe the scar and one doctor said he butchered you. I filed a complaint with the Iowa Board of Medicine and two weeks later we received a letter from McFarland Clinic saying we are banned from McFarland Clinics from now on. |

Too late 4 me...RESEARCH this doc b4 you become his next victim...., Feb 20, 2012 Has numerous NEGS on various rating sites. Very unhappy patients! You will be shocked to read the comments former patients have made. He is not only a bad doc, but also has a fairly recent past record of illegal behaviors. Do in-depth research on rating sites as well as denverpost.com. Wish I had done that - am now trying to fix the damage this man has done to me. Like many others have written "I will never go back!" |

He is very knowledgable and very helpful. I recommend him to all my friends. His skills very accross the board. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his practice. |

Dr. Wint cured my carpal tunnel and I am glad that I did it..., Dec 19, 2011 I was scared of having carpal tunnel surgery but Dr. WInt did an operation witha very tiny incision and it worked very well. I had a little pain for the day of the surgery but I did not take anything but some Motrin at night |
