Patient for orthoscopic knee surgery. Very dissatisfied with care, result and staff issues! ..., May 21, 2012

I had a knee (minuscus) surgery performed there in 2010. They indicated that I would be back to 100% in about 10 days after this orthosopic surgery. Instead, I have been plagued with pain ever since. I did all the therapy, taken cordizone and suparts to no avail. Along the way I have had issues with the staff over appointments and payments. They have claimed on two occasions that I was grossly delinquent on payments..... first example was when I was taking a 6 week round of supparts injections. They indicated at the start that the insurance paid it all, until they discovered that this wasn't true and upon one of my last visits for this, they initially tried to suspend any further treatment until my account was paid in full....something less than $100.00. Having serious pain issues, I booked an appointment with the Doctor, who I almost never saw, always relegated to a PA, and waited the ap[proximate two months to see the Dr, before the office staff called and said I owed them $106 and the Dr would not see me until I had paid this in full and all of this years deductible, in advance.... because of my past payment history..... a one time error, that they were responsible for. I believe, personally, that the Dr. violated his Hippocratic Oath when he refused to see me based upon this. His staff would not allow me to speak direct to him and then charged me .65 cents a page for my records. I have subsequently heard that this Dr. is great for shoulders, nut that knees are not his specialty. Based upon my experience, I would agree, since I still have a serious problem with my knee. Some months after the unsuccessful surgery, they indicated to me that I might be a good candidate for a whole knee replacement....something not even remotely on the radar before the orthoscopic minuscus surgery. Based upon the level of professionalism from the office staff and the fact that I have not achieved the desired level of health promised, I would not recommend this Dr. for any surgery or

Laziest staff I have ever experienced. No care for patients, just money..., Mar 23, 2012

There is a dark underbelly to the medical profession and never have I seen it so blatantly as in this office. My mother was in Dr. Greenberg's care. I would have to call the office day after day after day to get the simplest things accomplished. It took me a week to get the office to fax over the proper documentation so we could get oxygen. Over a week to get the staff to get a pre-approval on a prescription. Dr. Greenberg herself obviously does not know the laws governing her own profession in NJ because the scripts she wrote for my mothers pain meds were unacceptable so I had to drive back to the office to get corrected scripts. My mother was too weak to handle chemotherapy but they gave it to her anyway and it put her in the hospice wing of the hospital. Before I called an ambulance the day after her chemo I called the office, told them I was terrified, didn't know what to do and I needed to speak with one of the doctors or nurses. I was told a nurse would call me back immediately. After two hours I called 911 and while I waited for them to arrive the office called me about a referral from the home health nurse. When I told her I was taking mom to the hospital she said "If you have that kind of problem you should call us directly" I told her I had over two hours ago and I couldn't wait for her useless staff any longer. If you use this office, become an expert on cancer and be prepared to do all the work yourself. These people are useless to the nth degree!!!! Due to their laziness, and their lack of care or concern, I am sitting waiting for my mother to die 6 weeks after her diagnosis. The only doctor there worth her salt is Dr. LaNatra and if she were smart she would branch out on her own and hire a competent staff.

I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ONE OF HIS PATIENTS SUFFER WITHOUT MEDICINE, FOR A SURGERY THAT HE PERFORMED AND A MISTAKE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE MADE. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS ALL JUSTIFIABLE AND HE COULD CHECK INTO THE SITUATION AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT. VERY UNPERFESSIONAL. I AM TRANSFERING MY CARE TO THE ARNOT OGDEN WOUND CARE CENTER WHERE I BELEIVE I WILL BE TREATED AS A HUMAN. NOT SOME ONE HE CAN JUST MISTREAT. THANK YOU

Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012

DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. LACK OF TRUST in REFERENCE TO DOCTOR MARK FALLICK...., Jan 9, 2012

I am over 60 years old and this Doctor has to the most ignorant person I have ever come in contact with. I had a procedure done by him and when I went for follow-up tests he claimed I still had a condition. I sought a 2nd and 3rd opinion and I was told the tests showed my condition no longer existed, so it is clear Dr. Fallick wanted to put me through additional pain just so he could bill me and my insurance company for extra money for a procedure that was not required, DOCTOR FALLICK that is FRAUD. BEWARE of this money hungry IGNORANT Doctor who in my opinion is a disgrace to the MEDICAL profession.
