HORRIBLE!!! I cannot believe that they allow him to practice medicine...., Apr 12, 2012 This is a very long review but to summarize. Dr. Kong is possibly the worst doctor I could ever imagine he is a disgrace to the medical field. I was a patient of this doctor for 18 months. I was forced to see him because of workers comp. First you will call to set up an appointment. They do not verify your insurance before you arrive so expect to have some trouble with that. His office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. When you walk in the door the first thing you will notice is the other 400 patients in front of you who have been waiting for hours. The office is dark and the furniture is cheap (think thrift store). The whole place smells a little bit like urine and is covered in a THICK layer of dust. One you reach reception you will not be greeted. They have glass windows covering the reception area. I'm assuming so that when customer gets angry they don't cause physical harm to the incompetent employees. You will unpromptly be sneered at by someone who barely speaks english. They make you fill out about 10,000 forms most of which are illiterate and unnecessary. Now you can go ahead and relax because it is going to be a while. Next some angry woman will come demand you come into the back. They lead you down a very small hall way that has files stacked all over the floor. You will be upset at this point because the place looks like a landfil. You still have a chance to RUNNNNNNNNNNNN. You will be placed in a microscopic exam room and asked to wait 45 minutes for a nurse. The nurse will come in and give you a bunch of attitude if you mention you've been waiting. Then she will take SOME of your vitals with filthy equipment I assume is still there from the 1970s. You can relax again... call the health department... say goodbye to your closest friends and family. Whatever ends you need to tie up while your still moderately healthy. Excellent cosmetic surgeon who is very comforting and has the eye of an artist...., Feb 28, 2012 I was nervous about my visit. However, Dr. Steinsapir has a very impressive website and the information seems very in depth. He is a board certified ophthalmologist and is on staff at UCLA. He fellowship trained in both cosmetic surgery and oculofacial surgery. I got a goofy under eye Restylane treatment at another office with lumps under my eyes that have never been right. I was told by my original surgeon who is a very famous Beverly Hills surgeon that there was nothing wrong and the material disappears anyway. That was a year ago. Well within 15 seconds of being injected by Dr. Steinsapir with an enzyme these ugly bumps were gone. Since then I have had his microdroplet BOTOX, a patented method that is amazing and also under eye Restylane. Literally I look 15 years younger. I highly recommend this doctor! |

does not listen to you. you will be better off going somewhere else...., Jan 20, 2012 Reception is extremely mean and act like its the end of the world if you ask them to do anything. The dr. doesnt listen to you when you tell him anything. He puts his head down and seems like he is somewhere else but in the rooaskm with you. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Doesnt take the time to listen to your ailements, reception is extremely mean and seems like they do not want to be there, or help you at all. I would rather be in pain, then deal with reception. Go somewhere else. You will be better off somewhere else |

Staff does not call to alert patients of problems. ..., Jan 19, 2012 After 5 years as a patient, I made one late payment. The payment was in excess of $100.00 despite my usual $40.00 co-pay. Maybe Dr Leon's staff didn't submit to Aetna. I paid anyway. Months later, they refused to renew a refill and told me that I needed to pay cash for appointments now. They never contacted me about this. Rather, they let me run out of medication and then refused to refill. I had to miss classes that day and find a new GI. My GP was nice enough to authorize enough medication over the phone (on good faith that my labs had been good lately, which they were) until the visit with my new GI. That was lucky, many GPs won't do that, and I am currently stuck with ASU's GPs. Dr Leon's actions were negligent and unethical. I am looking into what legalities this may violate, and will press charges. To this date, Dr Leon had shown himself to be a fine physician, but this incident is unforgivable. His staff had always been a little dodgy. One of his staff tole me she would talk to Dr Leon to see if he would use a little discretion in this instance. I doubt that she did. |

Don't waste your time with this quack, better doctors around...., Nov 25, 2011 Unprofessional bedside manner. Switched doctors after a few visits with this quack. He is always running late, does not keep a professional distance from his staff and/or patients. Definitely a pill pushing doctor if that's all you're looking for. Don't waste your time with this quack, there are much better doctors in the area. |
