Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012 DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. His coordinator responded that he would not do the surgery until he got |

Medical doctors shouldn't make mistakes even paper ones...., Dec 16, 2011 I have seen Dr. Hoing for 2 years. She has always been plesent and kind however her ability to function as a docter do to her case load, in my opinion, is sorely lacking. She has made numerous mistakes in my healthcare and paperwork that has so far only cost us financialy. Her constant lying again in my opinion to cover her butt further complicates me attaining the healthcare I need and has added undo stress to our family. |

Worst Psychiatrist Ever-Incompetent and extremely unkind..., Oct 23, 2011 This man almost cost my mother her life through his incompetence. He prescribes medicine knowing it harms the patient, refuses to release records, threatens and harasses family, and believes the the narcotic buprenorphine is not a narcotic. Overall the worst example of medical practice. |

Very professional and knowledgable. Highly recommended...., Oct 5, 2011 Dr Hannani was very professional and explained my problem in detail. He showed me where my problem was on the films. He told me to not have surgery and the problem did get better with some time. Highly recommended. |

Waste of My Time (Will NEVER never never be back again)..., Sep 16, 2011 This doctor is rude, late and non- caring. I have never been treated so awful by a so called professional. I will never go there again. I don't believe half the things Dr. Young says. I have had five visits with Dr. Young for the same problem, each time she gives me a different diagnosis. This was my last visit, plus the staff isn't that proficient. |
