Dr Thiru is very good - she listens well and addresses all issue..., Jul 10, 2010 I've been seeing Dr Thiru for the last 3 years. She is very knowledgeable and listens carefully and addresses all the issues. I used to be on cholestrol medication; she suggested that exercise would be better than medicine to control it for me. I have been exercising regularly, especially running about 20 miles and more every week (training for a marathon). My cholestrol, tryglerides (checked last month) are now at excellent levels. She tries to resolve issues without jumping straightaway to medication - thank you Dr Thiru. |

Skin Cancer Removal by Dr. Wayne Fagan of South Texas Skin Cancer Center..., Apr 28, 2010 I was referred to Dr. Wayne Fagan of the South Texas Skin Cancer Center by my primary physician, Dr. Robb Sherron for the removal of a basal cell carcinoma located on my forehead just below my hairline. Dr. Fagan and his staff where knoweledgeable, courteous, professional and kind. The facility was clean, efficient and comfortable. Their parking lot was not quite adequate. I would highly recommend Dr. Fagan to others for skin cancer issues. |

My special health conditions was controlled with the treatment..., Mar 28, 2010 I have a special skin condition since ten years ago for the lack of solar protection, in my skin appeared little white spots for the sun exposure since I was 15 years old so I went to the dermatologist and the Doctor prescribe me a treatment with a solar protection cream that I must to use everyday and I need to took some Vitamin E pills, until now the treatments are working good. The Doctor`s prescription was right. Definitely I recommend the Doctor. |

I had a good experience at my doctor's office today...., Mar 17, 2010 I visited my doctor's office for a three month checkup. The staff were friendly, and the office assistant took my blood pressure and told me the reading, which I appreciated. I want to know every result of every test, so I was glad she told me. The doctor asked pertinent questions regarding my health, and recommended weight loss for better health. She always make me comfortable enough to ask any question, and she is thoughtful in her answers. |

Gerard Shepherd and Duke Urgent Care get thumbs up for thorough yet gentle exam..., Mar 15, 2010 I visited Duke Urgent Care in Durham, NC the morning after being in a serious car wreck. I was extremely bruised and battered and feared I had fractured ribs. Dr. SHepherd was gentle but thorough in examining me. He could have hurt me by being too rough, but he was not rough. He ordered appropriate tests (x-rays, urine to look for blood in case I had injured my kidneys, etc.)and explained what he was foing and why. He made an otherwise unpleasant experience bearable. The entire staff was calm and soothing. The facilities were top notch. I would recommend Gerard Shepherd and DUke Urgent Care to a friend or family member. |
