Do not use him or any hospital he works for like Scottsdale healthcare Shea!..., May 23, 2012

This dr. Does not disclose he is a sub contractor, will not bill secondary insurance, might save your life but ruin your credit, don't go to scottsdale healthcare Shea er! I refuse to see doctors that have this kind of ego.
Terrible Doctor, Unprofessional and Unintelligent ..., Apr 6, 2012

I had clavicle repair surgery with a plate and screws done by Dr. Gennaro. He averaged at least an hour behind schedule. The hospital staff was awful, they burst a vein every time an IV had to be put in. The x ray technicians messed up the angle of the x rays every single time. A month after surgery I developed pockets of fluid which formed blood blisters on the scar. Gennaro used a bone growth catalyst that had a reaction with my skin. This resulted in a hole in my skin that had to be surgically closed. The catalyst was not needed as I am a healthy, 18 year old who is active and fit. Two months after the initial surgery I broke my collarbone again, along with the plate. When he looked at my x ray his fist word was "Shit". He continued repeating this before saying "I've never seen this before, or read anything about it. So come back in two weeks and we'll see how it heals" I will never deal with him again. The plate is visibly displaced and very painful. If my collarbone heals like this the metal will grate against my skin every time I move as it has been doing. I have never had a worse medical experience
  Arrogant & Rude, don't waste your hard-earned $ with this guy!..., Mar 30, 2012

I would absolutely NOT go back to see this guy; he's the epitome of the stereotypically arrogant, rude doctor. When he enters the room, he doesn't even say a simple "hello" or even look at you, for that matter--he simply sits down at the computer with his back turned & begins to brusquely ask questions. I believe in common courtesy--so when I politely asked if he always does this, he replied, "I'm just trying to get to this back pain issue...do I come off as standoffish?" When I answered yes, there was no apology--just a, "Well, it might be a problem for YOU, but that's just the way it is." I was speechless, like WOW. I told him there'd be no need for treatment, promptly left and called my credit card company to dispute my copay charge as soon as I got home. Docs, your years of med school don't give you carte blanche to act like a**holes...especially when we're paying you our hard-earned money!
this docotor is terriable, very unethical. Dont go!..., Mar 27, 2012

This doctor is not ethical. Don't go! I had my first appointment with him on March 9th, I was just going for some regular check up. I was scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and I arrived there about 9:20 since I was having difficulty finding the place. There were other 4 people waiting there already, obviously they were putting more people than they should have. The worse thing was, the doctor did not show up until 10.00 a.m. I really did not know what is the reason for them to put so many people waiting while the doctor was not even there. I waited more than 2 hours to finally get to talk to the doctor, he was cold, and gave me a lib test and told me that I would learn a result in a week. But until March 20, 2012 I have never heard back from them. So I called the office asking the receptionist what was going on. She said she would look for my file and call me back. However, after 6 hours she did not call me back. So I called her again she finally told me that On the report it said abnormal but she did not know what it is, so you need to come back to the office. Then I asked her why the doctor could not simply give me an answer about his diagnosis, she said that was their policy that the doctor does not talk to patient over the phone. Instead all patients have to go back to the office to learn that. I told her it is ridiculous because I have already paid my doctors visit fee and lab test fee, I deserve to know the answer from the doctor. But she kept repeating that is their policy, if I want to know, I have to come to this office to pay another office visit fee. I don't really mind paying, but how would anybody feel the doctor telling you that you need to pay one more time to learn your diagnosis you have paid before and you don't even deserve to know whether this is urgent or not. This is totally unethical, I would not go back to this office and I would file further complaint against them.
poor psychiatrist will not go back under any circumstances..., Nov 26, 2011

Unless you have addiction problems, I would not see this guy. Maybe he is better with alcoholics. With mental health issues, he is terrible, does not listen, does not care, will not answer your questions, and obviously has many preconceived notions that he is unwilling to explain.
