I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ON..., Feb 7, 2012 I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ONE OF HIS PATIENTS SUFFER WITHOUT MEDICINE, FOR A SURGERY THAT HE PERFORMED AND A MISTAKE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE MADE. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS ALL JUSTIFIABLE AND HE COULD CHECK INTO THE SITUATION AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT. VERY UNPERFESSIONAL. I AM TRANSFERING MY CARE TO THE ARNOT OGDEN WOUND CARE CENTER WHERE I BELEIVE I WILL BE TREATED AS A HUMAN. NOT SOME ONE HE CAN JUST MISTREAT. THANK YOU |

I absoulutely would use Dr. Montalbano again and would refer him to family and friends..., Dec 19, 2011 When I started coming to Regional Orthopedics I was in a lot of pain and experienced limited to no activity. When I was brought to the emergency room Dr. Montalbano was the one who performed surgery on my right ankle. The healing process took longer than I would have liked but was no fault of the doctor. The pain has decreased but still some pain is present. I absoulutely would use Dr. Montalbano again and would refer him to family and friends. |

Best MD I ever had! Believes in treating with the patiet's mind instead of massive drugs for a quick..., Nov 14, 2011 As a football player at The Ohio State University, and also 6 year professional football player (All-Pro), Dr Smayda is one of the best two I have ever had. The other doctor is orthopedic so he doesnt count in this review. Dr Smayda goes way beyond what most doctors do in a standard check up and will stay on top of your healing process and the rountine he expects you to follow! You will not be looked at as a "fast food" patient like many other physicians do who are so concerned with the number of patients they have instead of thoroughly TREATING the ones they already have. Dr Smayda WILL listen, research, understand, and diagnose your problem to the fullest extent and beyond until you are healed. I wish he didnt move to New York! he saved my life and brought me from full diabetic with insulin shots, high cholestoral, high blood pressure, and massive weight gain to a 60 lb lighter person who only takes vitamins. He lower and got rid of everything negative I mentioned WITHOUT the use of medication but rather with a diagnosis tailored specifically for me. |

Beware - Malpractice ..., Sep 23, 2011 I went under the knife in May 2011 to have a large fibro lipoma removed from my upper spine. Dr. Kramer performed the surgery, and it seemed all was well. It was evident within a couple weeks that there was still a fairly good sized bulge remaining. After waiting for the wound and stitches to heal, and for the swelling to go down, I went back in to see Dr. Kramer about the tumor still present. To my astonishment, all Kramer had to say was that he probably should have had me laying on my stomach for the operation rather than on my side, and therefore he only removed part of the tumor. I was informed my only option was to go back under the knife for a second operation, and would now have to pay double the amount originally paid, all due to the malpractice of the doctor. Even though I returned within less than 90 days, Kramer and staff were unwilling to assist me with out-of-pocket expenses, even after they admitted fault. When I asked why I should have to pay twice to have something done that should have been taken care of with one surgery, Kramer immediately got an attitude with me and had the gall to state that I was asking him to commit insurance fraud. All I was asking was that my additional out of pocket fees for their work to be billed to their office rather than to me, which seems perfectly fair, considering they didn't do what I paid them to do. Now I'm facing the fact that I have to once again take time off from work, pay TWICE (~$2K) for the same procedure, and basically deal with all the unpleasantness of going to the hospital and dealing with another surgery and recovery. I am astonished at the complete unwillingness of Advanced Surgical Associates - notably Dr. Kramer - to take accountability and make things right. At this time, I'm seeking assistance from an attorney to lodge a malpractice suit. Needless to say, I am one EXTREMELY dissatisfied customer, and I sincerely hope you heed my words and take your business and health to a more experie |
