Very rude and arrogant ..................................., May 25, 2012

I grew up in the communistic country when health care was free for everyone at that time and I was never treated so poorly by doctors over there like I was by Dr.Teng who get paid thousands of dollars in one day. He was VERY RUDE to me, he had no sense of respect and compassion. I arrived to do my procedure with him for epidural shots for my back and I had to let him know that I started to develop changes in my back which is causing me pain on other site lower back too. He started to tell me that he is not going to cure my back pain and deal with that but only with the pinch nerve I had previously. And then he told me he doesn’t think this treatment will do anything for me. Honestly it’s not even what he said but HOW he said. He has a bad manners. I have tried to be patient with him in the past but this time I just could not hold myself from tears. . He had a very short temper with me. He made me feel like I was less then human being. If nurses would not be there for me who were my angels at that time and a friend who waited to give me a ride I would get even far emotional. First Dr.Teng hurt my feeling, never apologies and then he refused to treat me. In one day I heard from several people that Dr.Teng had problems with other people in the past with his skills to be arrogant and rude. Beside that every time I visit him for an appointment he always late, I had to wait for him not less then 1 hours so he can see me 15 or 20 min. There is two type of doctors. Doctors who became doctor because they want to help people and other doctors who just want to make big $ and they don’t care about people. Sound to me like Dr.Teng is one of those doctors who only interested in money and hate his job which is people. Why would I even want to offer my body to someone who carry such poor and negative energy around himself ?
This doctor is a total idiot anf have no idea how to treat a patient..., Apr 10, 2012

I took my son for a fever and this doctor done a total different test that was not necessary at that time. He does not fully explain what the problem is, because he is not sure himself. I can probably do better job than him by using any medical website. This is the second time it happened to my son, where this doctor have no idea what is going on and it turned out to be a simple fever and sore throat. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.
excellent doctor for all ages options, reasonable ..., Feb 21, 2012

my 14 yr old daughter ripped her ACL off and he empathized with her and always had her best interest at heart. because her growth plates werent closed yet, he waited to do surgery to replace this absent ligament. also giving her the option to strength train to allow a possibility of no surgery at all. I am very pleased with him as a doctor and a person.he is very reasonable prices for the time he takes with every patient answering all the questions you have and explaining
Dr. Ghai's unprofessionalism and poor judgement almost killed me...., Feb 16, 2012

Dr. Ghai refused to have a heart cath performed on me at the request of Dr. Hess at Shands teaching hospital. I had seen Dr. Ghai about my malignant HBP. After several visits and a hospital stay he declared my problem was to much sodium. My resting BP was 167/110 at the time of my release from the hospital. I was referred to Dr. Hess at Shands for a 2nd opinion at the request of my family doctor.. Dr Hess indicated I needed a CT scan. He wondered out loud why this had not already been performed while under Dr. Ghai's care during my hospital stay. The CT showed I had Triple vessel calcification. Dr. Hess referred me back to Ghai to have the Cath performed. He felt this was necessary due to my symptons and family history(father died of heart attack at 49, mother had CABG at 62). He told me to have Dr. Ghai call for a consultation. Upon return to Dr. Ghai he refused to order the cath saying it was unnecessary. He said "I am the professional, Dr. Hess is just a surgeon". I returned to Shands were Dr. Hess had the cath performed. It revealed I had 5 blockages 752% or greater. I had CABG performed at Shands on 1/4/11. The physicians at Shands could not believe the lack of professionalism shown by Ghai. Dr. Ghai is completely incompetent. I would advise anyone seeing him to reconsider.
Dr. Duggal and Staff at Liberty Bay Internal Medicine are highly recommended..., Jan 17, 2012

I have been going to Dr. Duggal for over three years. He has become my primary care physician although I first started seeing him to help manage my degenenerative disk disease along with numerous other age-related difficulties. Dr. Duggal's qualifications in multiple areas of expertise effectively make him several doctors in one, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, lipids and pain mangement. Although Dr. Duggal is an expert in pharmacology he also has Dr. Nicholas Wyatt, Pharm D working with him as well. The staff has all been wonderful in helping me with the scheduling of appointments and everything I've needed help with. I highly recommend Liberty Bay Internal Medicine with Dr. Duggal and staff.
