Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients......, Jan 9, 2012 Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients who get referred to him by their primary care physicians. I am 73 years old and my visit which is covered by Medicare and Medical ended up being billed for $225!!! for a half an hour visit. Well, the eye pressure was checked. The insurance didn't pay for $134.90 out of this amount. The office failed to warn that they don't take Medical and about the deductible on Medicare. When asked, I was assured that the visit will be covered. Anyway - now they threaten to turn the whole thing to the collections. Shameless! I live on a limited income of about $600 a month and can't afford to pay that much for a visit. The attempts to negotiate the bill have always ended up with the inability of his office to get the right info about the Medical. But this is not all. During the visit the doc kept pushing his glasses and contacts and was very irritated when we politely rejected the offers. Very awkward. It feels like they are trying to survive at the cost of the most vulnerable. I would never go there again.

Does not respond to calls from patient or pharmacy..., Apr 11, 2012 During my last appointment, lab results were slow in being returned, and were not available for discussion and this doctor promised to call as soon as the results were available. THREE WEEKS later, I still do not have the results of the tests. Repeated calls to the office are deleted from the voice mail with no response whatsoever. Due to a problem with a prescription as written, the pharmacy has also left repeated voice mails with requests for information/instructions, which are also ignored. The outgoing message states that all calls will be returned within 24-48 hours. This has not happened, either for myself or the pharmacy. Not gettng any response from this office is inexecusable. |

Arrogant, unfriendly, aweful, sarcastic, contantly at least 30 min late..., Apr 4, 2012 sarcastic, unfriendly, 30' late atll 3xs I've seen her, wont prevent flare ups nor does she believe in them, has a "let's wait until it's too late to treat you and you're dieing" attitude. Rolled her eyes when i asked a question I had seen online and sighed as if I was the stupidist patient on the planet. |

brain cancer given 10% survival chances, now 6 yrs cancer-free..., Mar 20, 2012 Dr. Forbes treated me six years ago for advanced brain cancer, right frontal lobe including sinus cavity, using Novellus machine. He is the best, gave me superb and compassionate care, and I'm still cancer-free six years later. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I owe my survival to him. |

Nice lady, but nice doesn't count to your medical wellbeing. ..., Jan 24, 2012 Nice lady, but... lacks experience and concrete experience. Great at giving referrals and free prescription pills. Definitely has an arrogant and condescending attitude. Office staff isn't that helpful or welcoming either. |

Zafar Naqvi- Avoid at all cost! M.D. is inexperienced and unhelpful..., Dec 16, 2011 No information and no experience. Has made at least two mistakes for all 4 clients I work with. Unfortunatly this M.D. does not bring anything to the table. Good practice at UMass. Bad apple with Zafar Naqvi. Beware! Many mistakes |
