Dr. Gordon is an excellent orthodontist. His entire staff makes you feel wonderful from the moment you walk in the door. My two children even comment on how nice everyone is each time we visit. As far as price, they are very reasonable for braces. We called several other orthodontists in the area and felt that Dr. Gordon's office offered the most "bang for our buck." We truly have no complaints about this doctor, and that speaks volumes!

I recently had surgery on my right middle finger caused by it "triggering". Even though it was minor surgery and an outpatient procedure, I was still somewhat anxious. I was very pleased with the outcome due to the knowledge and friendliness of the staff at the Dept. of Orthopedics at the University of Rochester Medical Center and definitely would recommend this clinic and especially Dr. Hammert.

I had a spinal tap, in order to insure that my persistent flu like symptoms and fever weren’t meningitis. I saw Dr. Thakur to follow up. I had a persistent headache, and he informed me that it was a spinal tap related headache. It was caused by leaky spinal fluid. He advised me to go home, lie flat, and wait for it to go away. It never went away. I used up all of my sick leave at a new job. My headache was present whenever I was upright. These headaches are a lot like migraines in their level of pain. After many weeks, I asked him about a blood patch. My supervisor at work had the same problem after a spinal tap in the past. He told me about it. After I made the suggestion to Dr. Thakur, he referred me to have one. I felt better before I was off the table. Because I’ve had a problem with doctor’s failing to listen and/or address my ailments in the past, I stopped seeing Dr. Thakur. He’s a nice enough guy. It’s easy to establish a rapport with him, but, ultimately, he left me in pain for far too long. Missing days of work, in the modern age, is a quick way to lose your job. I need someone who is mindful of that fact and considerate of my pain and discomfort.

I had an excellent experience with a new doctor that I have just transferred to, named Dr. Hanson. Dr. Hanson was recommended to me by a friend and all I can say is I am glad that I took her advice. He was very professional, courteous, respectful, and was very well educated. He graduated from Harvard Medical School summa cum laude. I went to see him for a routine check-up and he detected several potentially harmful moles I had. I was very pleased with my experience and would certainly recommend him to another friend.

I had a regular OB checkup yesterday, and saw John Philman. I had some worries regarding how small I am measuring. John Philman addressed the issue, and gave me a few choices for resolution. We have decided to take the "wait and see" approach for now. I will return in two weeks, and if I am still measuring small, I will be referred for a more in-depth ultrasound. I also had to do my one hour glucose test, as well as test my thyroid again as I have had issues in the past. I am still waiting to hear results, but should get them back in the next few hours.

The doctors office was clean and well kept. Staff was very informed and polite. The doctor himself was very polite and reassuring. The entire process was explained in depth to me. Doctors offices make me nervous in general, so if his scores seem low it is only because of my own nervousness. Procedure went well and overall I am very satisfied.
