Poor customer service. No compassion. Not helpful. Rude. No resolutions offered. ..., May 14, 2013

Regarding our appointment this morning of May 14, 2013. Upon arriving my 94 year old mother was anxious to to avail herself to the services of Dr. Kligman for chronic neck pain. I had been referred to Dr. Kligman by my personal physician. Upon presenting my mothers insurance card we were informed that it would not be excepted as Dr. Kligman was not listed as the primary care physician. I was disappointed to say the least when i was informed of this, as it was never explained to me when the appointment for a new patient was made that Dr. Kligman would have to be elected as her primary care physician in order for her insurance card to be accepted and to be seen by the Dr. I told the receptionist behind the desk that Healthnet would absolutely pay as I occasionally bring my mother to other primary care physicians that are not listed on her insurance card with out issues from the insurance company (healthnet). No avenue of resolution was offered by the receptionist, and in my opinion I was treated very rudely and was also told that my attitude was not appreciated, at which time I told her I also did not appreciate her shortness with me either, to which she exclaimed that I came into the office with that attitude, which is NOT the case. I became agitated because after waiting 4 months for this appointment I felt that it was neglgent on their part that we were never informed that in order to be seen we would need to elect Dr. Kligman as our primary care physician prior to our appointment. I believe this was an oversight in their policy and not a fault of the patient. I asked her to call the insurance company to verify that there would be no problem and was rebuffed, at which time I thought it best that I call the insurance company so their office would be assured of payment. Dr. Byck butchered my ACL repair. I was left to suffer for 10 weeks due to incorrect hardware placement. Dr. Byck and his NP failed to notice the incorrect hardware placement on 1 wk post-operative and other x-rays taken. I was in excruciating pain, could not move the joint properly and had to walk on crutches. Dr. Byck ignored my complaints and never acknowledged his mistake. Very arrogant. Had to have two additional surgeries to fix what this guy did to me. Be aware! I don't wish what I had to go through on anyone!

Beware of this office. They will start treatment then dismiss you under FALSE ACCUSATIONS ..., Feb 24, 2013

You WILL NOT get the medication you need for you hypertension. Janette, the office manager will dismiss you and tell lies to the insurance company after the doctor has been paid for the month with your medicare hmo plan to take care of you. Once you are seen 1 time with any HMO plan the insurance cannot retract the money they gave the doctor to provide care for the ENTIRE month. She will demand you leave and refuse to let you finish your appointment with the doctor WHILE YOU ARE IN AN EXAM ROOM. They send you to doctors for things you never were in there for and NOT treat you for the reason you came in. They order lab work and then refuse to give you the results. Being diabetic with hypertension, it is important for my medical well being to get such results to make sure the medication is either working or overworking. The doctor has had probation with disciplinary action which you can request information on. I hope this will help future patients in making a better informed decision about the doctor they see.
