Expensive if Not Using Insurance, Rude Receptionist..., Jul 27, 2010 I've been going to this office exclusively since I moved to New York in the late 80's. This was always for eye exams when my license was up for renewal. The Doctors are a Father and Son team and were always nice and competent. Recently I went for my exam and when I got home I noticed my bill was $325 which I thought was pretty steep. I had the exam, the drops to dilate etc. but I never remember the cost being so great. I called to question this and mentioned that I didn't have insurance and i was told by the not too cordial receptionist that he would speak to the Doctor and call me. He called back and said that was the rate and nothing could be done. After this I wrote a letter and thought they would try to offer some assistance but they refused. I did pay the full charge and asked for my records. Perhaps I should have asked their rate in advance but it had never been extreme in the past. I asked many friends who go often to eye Doctors and they all thought this bill was too much. Anyway, this just felt like a bit of a nasty shakedown and the rude receptionist, clearly not the sharpest tack as they say, made the situation worse. Lesson learned!

Dr Oskouei is a HACK - Do not use this guy - BEWARE!!!..., Dec 13, 2011 Completely misdiagnosed my and my daughter which resulted in me owing 10,000 in medical bills. My new doctor said he doesn't know how he could have missed it. In my opinion they should revoke his license. |

Not a nice person and untrustworthy doctor - Very sad experience..., Nov 1, 2011 He recommended a hysterectomy for a one inch fibroid and said surgery was the only option. The problem was I had lower right groin pain and not uterine pain. He felt the fibroid - how could he make such a big mistake? Unless he just wanted to perform surgery and make some money. Problem was - it devastated me. A morsel of caring from him would have been nice, instead, he pretty ruthlessly kicked me out. A family member said she had never seen a doctor be so cold and so cruel. |

Incompetent and bill me for service that I never had..., Oct 19, 2011 Dr Sean Haugh is not a very professional doctor. He billed me for office visit that I never have. He never return call when I need to reach him. This doctor is also not very competent on his job. He can't even give me a fine diagnosis on my illness. Whenever I asked him my diagnosis; he will defer to something else and never really want to answer my question. My advise is to avoid this doctor because you will end up paying more than you have to and on the top of it you didn't get a good care. |

This Person is a child molester and needs no help in clients BEWARE..., Oct 10, 2011 This Doctor tried to molest MY CHILDREN and I am going to sue him for $10,000,000.00 as Sara age 10 nad Andrew 7 can verbally tell how he showed his private parts to them, My husband has had all business and home phones tpped due to his nature of senatoral work , This Dr. IS BAD NEWS and has a baby (new) NOT EVEN HIS WE HAVE FOUND OUT as his wife is from Russia and has Boy Friend in Tulsa, His sister Cynthia Vanderpool is also a lesbian.This PERSON. Dr. BLACKMAN is the Best Doctor I've Had Since Moving 2 Greensboring..., Aug 23, 2011 When I 1st met Dr. Blackman, I had kidney problems. My right knee was swelling but not my left one? but for some reason i thought it was due to my sickness it was not. Dr. Blackman ran his test and figured i had a serious infection that could have caused my knee and downward to be amputated. . .he did the surgery with success. It did take me the a while to heal, but a while is better than a LIFETIME. Thank U Dr. BlackMan -Josh Ikegwu |
