Hour and a half wait, 90 seconds of diagnosis and misery....., Feb 9, 2012 I blame myself for going to this Dr. a second time. He is very rude and has you waiting in an exam room for nearly as long as in the waiting room. The man is obnoxious and presumes to diagnose your syptoms with 2 or 3 questions and without a thorough exam. His staff is unhelpful and appear to fear the Dr. No bedside manner whatsoever. There is more warmth from an emergency room than in this office. Stay away ! |

Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients......, Jan 9, 2012 Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients who get referred to him by their primary care physicians. I am 73 years old and my visit which is covered by Medicare and Medical ended up being billed for $225!!! for a half an hour visit. Well, the eye pressure was checked. The insurance didn't pay for $134.90 out of this amount. The office failed to warn that they don't take Medical and about the deductible on Medicare. When asked, I was assured that the visit will be covered. Anyway - now they threaten to turn the whole thing to the collections. Shameless! I live on a limited income of about $600 a month and can't afford to pay that much for a visit. The attempts to negotiate the bill have always ended up with the inability of his office to get the right info about the Medical. But this is not all. During the visit the doc kept pushing his glasses and contacts and was very irritated when we politely rejected the offers. Very awkward. It feels like they are trying to survive at the cost of the most vulnerable. I would never go there again. |

No help or care, no followup and a big, unexpected bill. ..., Nov 26, 2011 I was very unhappy with my visit to Dr. Lin. I had a painful ear problem that had been going on for a month, and all she did was look in my ear and say she didn't find anything. No inquires about how long I've had the problem and attempt to investigate the issue. She eventually did a very small procedures that she said might help or might not, and then charged the procedure as ambulatory surgery so that I would have to pay for half the cost instead just an office visit which is covered. Despite the fact that I left in pain, she never followed-up and never even attempted to help figure out what is wrong with me. I'm still in pain. |

Disappointed with Dr. Brian S. Edkin's abandonment of care after so many mistakes..., Sep 23, 2011 Dr. Edkin performed 2 hip implants on my wife using the DePuy ASR implants. He did such a poor job on both that my wife never recovered from crippling pain, then he informed her that both of her implants had been recalled due to a high failure rate and poisoning from chromium and cobalt. He offered no apology, no remedy, and no advice. As soon as he felt she became a liability to his practice he basically dropped her. It took him 8 months after informing her of the implant recall and that she could be in danger of chromium and cobalt poisoning, to do a blood test for it and he found her metal levels were elevated. She has had these implants in her body for over 2 years. Aside from a test for infection he ran because of her constant crippling pain he basically told her “just give it time”. He never did the appropriate testing to discover her true condition. So we had to find another specialist and we did. They immediately ordered MRI, Bone Scan and Hip aspirations to determine her true condition, after which they replaced both implants correcting Dr. Edkin’s work. They found and removed significant damage of her soft tissue from chromium and cobalt ions. If we had continued to trust Dr. Edkin that damage would have only been getting worse, and who knows how long he would have let it go? |

The worst experience of my life. She has no people skills..., Sep 4, 2011 my experience at this office was the worst and i want every one to know about. something that means the world to us was stepped on by dr.bustillo and her staff. dr.bustillo is super dry and when she talks to you she is so cold and dry like a bottle of wine. when you are talking about something so improtant like having a baby she needs class on how to talk to her patients. i dont care if she has 30 years of experience. the office is super unorganized starting from mercy to the famous adrianna that also has no people skills. dr. bustillo gives you no hope at all but she does push the fact to go for a donor so she can make more money. sacha was the only one that helped us and took the time to explain things to us. the other doctor there that has no people skill is the american tall doctor. omg he is the worst. after going there getting ready to do something that meant the world to us i had to wait a month beacuse they where so unorganized and did not inform me that i had to take out blood. they did not care. so we had to wait a |
