Patient for orthoscopic knee surgery. Very dissatisfied with care, result and staff issues! ..., May 21, 2012 I had a knee (minuscus) surgery performed there in 2010. They indicated that I would be back to 100% in about 10 days after this orthosopic surgery. Instead, I have been plagued with pain ever since. I did all the therapy, taken cordizone and suparts to no avail. Along the way I have had issues with the staff over appointments and payments. They have claimed on two occasions that I was grossly delinquent on payments..... first example was when I was taking a 6 week round of supparts injections. They indicated at the start that the insurance paid it all, until they discovered that this wasn't true and upon one of my last visits for this, they initially tried to suspend any further treatment until my account was paid in full....something less than $100.00. Having serious pain issues, I booked an appointment with the Doctor, who I almost never saw, always relegated to a PA, and waited the ap[proximate two months to see the Dr, before the office staff called and said I owed them $106 and the Dr would not see me until I had paid this in full and all of this years deductible, in advance.... because of my past payment history..... a one time error, that they were responsible for. I believe, personally, that the Dr. violated his Hippocratic Oath when he refused to see me based upon this. His staff would not allow me to speak direct to him and then charged me .65 cents a page for my records. I have subsequently heard that this Dr. is great for shoulders, nut that knees are not his specialty. Based upon my experience, I would agree, since I still have a serious problem with my knee. Some months after the unsuccessful surgery, they indicated to me that I might be a good candidate for a whole knee replacement....something not even remotely on the radar before the orthoscopic minuscus surgery. Based upon the level of professionalism from the office staff and the fact that I have not achieved the desired level of health promised, I would not recommend this Dr. for any surgery or |

Dr. Stephen Meese is a Awesome doctor! He delivered both my girls!..., Apr 12, 2012 Dr. Meese delivered my oldest daughter in Georgetown, OH back in 02. When I was expecting again back in 06 I went to Maysville, KY just so I could have him as a doctor again. He is a amazing doctor! I would highly recommend him to anyone! |

Very unprofessional and disrespectful office staff ..., Apr 11, 2012 I have an appointment last April 5 at 6pm. I came and waited... the office was closed. I was outside with other patients waiting for them to open the door. 6:20 i called the office and the lady who answered the phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes and just to tell me that the office is closed and they give everyone a call to let us know that the office is closed. I was home the whole day the day before and the day itself but didnt get any calls from them. I called the following day to make a complain and the lady who answered the phone is soooo MEAN! She told me that my name is not on the calendar and told me "You're not even in the calendar so why are you upset it is not our fault if you come over and the office is closed!" What kind of attitude is that? She is representing Dr. Kulessa in a very disrespectful and unprofessional way. I would NOT go back to that doctor again! |

Excellent cosmetic surgeon who is very comforting and has the eye of an artist...., Feb 28, 2012 I was nervous about my visit. However, Dr. Steinsapir has a very impressive website and the information seems very in depth. He is a board certified ophthalmologist and is on staff at UCLA. He fellowship trained in both cosmetic surgery and oculofacial surgery. I got a goofy under eye Restylane treatment at another office with lumps under my eyes that have never been right. I was told by my original surgeon who is a very famous Beverly Hills surgeon that there was nothing wrong and the material disappears anyway. That was a year ago. Well within 15 seconds of being injected by Dr. Steinsapir with an enzyme these ugly bumps were gone. Since then I have had his microdroplet BOTOX, a patented method that is amazing and also under eye Restylane. Literally I look 15 years younger. I highly recommend this doctor! |

Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012 DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings.
