Better Plastic surgeons in Mobile, doesn't know insurance procedure, non caring..., May 17, 2012 Hard time getting a return phone call once your procedure is over with. Dr and staff are 20 years behind on covered procedures with insurance. Certainly will NOT return a phone call about insurance after your claim is denied, and will screen your calls about that matter. They charge up front, so they have their money, and could care less if you get reimbursed or not. When I was upset about having to have the procedure done, I started crying. Dr Proffitt just walked out of the room! |

This doctor is a total idiot anf have no idea how to treat a patient..., Apr 10, 2012 I took my son for a fever and this doctor done a total different test that was not necessary at that time. He does not fully explain what the problem is, because he is not sure himself. I can probably do better job than him by using any medical website. This is the second time it happened to my son, where this doctor have no idea what is going on and it turned out to be a simple fever and sore throat. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. |

They only care about your money, they over charge you ..., Feb 7, 2012 I went to visit the office to have my annual eye check. When I was in the office, everyone keep asking me if I have any friends or family need eye check. And I found out later that they charge me $50 just for putting a pair of contact lens into my eye. When I called, they said that this is just their practice, you don't have to come back. |

A friendly doctor who makes too many mistakes and then covers them over...., Dec 16, 2011 My husband and I both went to Dr. Hoing for about two years. She is very easy to talk with but makes too many mistakes. She has me on a medicine 20mg more than the doctor recommended dose. She also has not filled out paperwork for my care in over a month. She has made numerous mistakes with my husband as well. She has placed undo stress on our family and she in my opinion is not living up to her Hippocratic Oath: "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick." We will no longer see her and we advise everyone to be careful who do seek her professional care. |
