I went to visit Dr. Weinberger a couple weeks ago because I had..., Nov 27, 2009

I went to visit Dr. Weinberger a couple weeks ago because I had a cold that wouldn't quit, and it was aggravating my asthma. I called his office in the morning and made an appointment for that afternoon. When I got there and signed in, they put me in a room in less than five minutes. Once in the room, I barely had time to look around (Dr. Weinberger and his wife are accomplished photographers, and the photographs on display all around the office are breathtaking) before Dr. Weinberger popped his head in to tell me he'd be right with me. About 2 minutes later, he came in the room and asked me about my current situation. After explaining it to him, he calmly informed me that my lungs sounded terrible and that the over-the-counter medicine I'd been taking to regulate my asthma was crap (he didn't say “crap”). His sarcasm and blunt honesty are actually two of the qualities that I love about my doctor, so this didn't shock or annoy me, although I'll admit that he's not for the faint-of-heart. Anyway, he sent me to the next room to have my chest X-rayed, informed me that “at least [I didn't] have pneumonia,” diagnosed me with bronchitis, put me out of work for a week, and scheduled a follow-up visit. All in all, I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes without feeling rushed or overlooked. I think my doctor is awesome, and I love the personal touches he puts on his practice. With his older patients, he still does home visits, and when a long-standing patient loses his job and therefore his insurance, he's been known to – on a limited basis – see the patient for reduced costs or even for free, depending on the situation. I recommend Dr. Weinberger to my coworkers, friends, and family members all the time.

Verbally abusive, egotistical monster with long history of drug addiction..., Feb 22, 2013

This so-called doctor runs a shoddy "treatment" center where professionals are essentially extorted for money. For $10,000 a month, for a mimimum of three months, clients enjoy daily humiliation at the hands of underqualified, detached counselors. It's like a prison, where snitching on your peers for minor infractions is encouraged and results in punishment, usually physical labor and loss of contact with your family. It creates an atmisphere that breeds paranoia and hostility, like an episode of Survivor gone horribly awry. Dr Teitelbaum is the director/warden of this expensive little internment camp. He is incredibly arrogant, rude, and sensitive only to his own ego. Possibly the only man ever diagnosed with penis envy, he is derisive and insulting to his patients. It is an incredible abuse of power, and he is as sadistic as he is incompetent. He frequently confuses patients and their histories, and his reports read like works of fiction. I could never have imagined such an emotionally and psycholoogcally damaging environment in the name of "therapy." Shame on Shands Hospital for allowing this to continue. Do whatever you can to avoid this physician and his treatment center. Go out of state if you have to. Avoid him and Florida Recovery Center at all cost. I sure wish I had.
Google "Complaints" on this MD before making an appointment for a procedure..., Feb 10, 2013

Before selecting any doctor, please do your due diligence and google complaints on whomever is giving you a consultation before you make an appointment or give them your money for any procedure, even if they tell you that they invented the procedure you are looking to have done, and/or that they teach it internationally and that you need look no further for the best person to do the job. ALWAYS LOOK FURTHER WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU THIS. I wish I had.
Extremely rude, arrogant and uncaring. I would not recommend her to anyone...., Dec 20, 2012

Dr. Kubica is not only rude and uncaring, she is very rough when doing exams. A complete physical with her lasts a couple minutes with her barely examining the patient and not knowing the patient's history at all even if you are have been a patient for years. She is cold and distant and will not listen to questions much less answer any questions. She walks out of the room while the patient is still talking and asking questions. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is completely uninterested in her patient and actually had the worst bedside manners I have every experienced. Very poor Doctor.
Not very helpful, wouldn't prescribe me meds that I'd been on for years..., Nov 21, 2012

As an internal medicine doctor I can see that she tries, but she's not very helpful. I was regularly seeing another doctor that worked at the same office as her and my usual PCP left so the office automatically rolled me over to her. She gave me a hard time prescribing me the same medications that I'd been on for YEARS AND YEARS and eventually just started denying me my regular medicines saying that she wanted me to get my prescriptions from different specialists every time I need a refill (I originally got these prescriptions prescribed to me BY specialists, then the specialists say to me "Everything is fine, you can get these filled by your PCP and just come back for check ups once or twice a year" Which I DO. To have to get my prescriptions filled by all the different specialists is a huge pain in the ass, especially WHEN I'VE BEEN ON THESE MEDS FOR YEARS AND YEARS. Wouldn't recommend her.
