friendly doctor, but only when it suits her. Goddess attitude..., Mar 31, 2012

Dr. Lee at first comes across as a friendly doctor who actually wants to help her patients, but as time (and experience) with this doctor go's on - you see the real side of her. She's opinionted, thinks her ideas/diagnosis are the only one which matters. If you tell her a medication isn't working, she looks at you in a distrustful manner and questions you as to have you've been taking the medication and taking it properly. If you have a long term illness which isn't progressing in a positive manner, she starts to become impatient with you and questions whether you want to get better or not. She insists on lots of tests (labs, scans, mri's) and seeing different specilists. She also prescribes a multi-tude of prescriptions. Her office staff needs training in how to effectively interact with patients in a positive manner - as does the doctor.
brain cancer given 10% survival chances, now 6 yrs cancer-free..., Mar 20, 2012

Dr. Forbes treated me six years ago for advanced brain cancer, right frontal lobe including sinus cavity, using Novellus machine. He is the best, gave me superb and compassionate care, and I'm still cancer-free six years later. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I owe my survival to him.
Feedback from experience with Dr. Uma Narayan!!!!!..., Mar 16, 2012

My 11 month old son was very sick for over a month. We were in and out of Dr. Uma Narayan's office several times each time being told he was fine, just ignore the cough. Well his condition continued to worsen. Runny nose, fever, pulling (working to breath), losing weight, coughing nonstop (sounded like a seal), lethargic, and very miserable. He was prescribed two medications that come to find out were not what he needed. Needless to say at the last visit, after 2 breathing treatments, he had to be rushed to the hospital (30 minutes away because others were full???). My baby spent 2 1/2 days in the hospital on oxygen, he tested positive for bronchiolitis with RSV, a simple test that took 15 minutes. She never called to check on him once, even after we were released. In addition, it takes at least +4 hours to get a call back after leaving a message at the office. The doctors at the hospital said had it been caught sooner he would not have been this bad.Good luck!!
I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ON..., Feb 7, 2012

I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ONE OF HIS PATIENTS SUFFER WITHOUT MEDICINE, FOR A SURGERY THAT HE PERFORMED AND A MISTAKE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE MADE. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS ALL JUSTIFIABLE AND HE COULD CHECK INTO THE SITUATION AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT. VERY UNPERFESSIONAL. I AM TRANSFERING MY CARE TO THE ARNOT OGDEN WOUND CARE CENTER WHERE I BELEIVE I WILL BE TREATED AS A HUMAN. NOT SOME ONE HE CAN JUST MISTREAT. THANK YOU
Bad inguinal hernia repair. Trust your instincts and go somewhere else. Like a vet...., Feb 1, 2012

He has never made a mistake in his life. But I have had three more surgeries trying to fix what he did to me. I will never get those years of my life back. Go somewhere else. I kept going back, thinking he was trying to help me. He was just trying to prevent a lawsuit and tell me it was in my head.
