Short doctors office visit went really well, all things considered. :)..., Mar 28, 2013
This was my first time seeing Dr. Lazar. I had to take my kids with me because of spring break. The east Memphis office has a great kids room that is plainly visible in the waiting room. That was a great way to keep them occupied during the wait. Once I saw Dr. Lazar, things went really well. He listened to what I had to say and asked probing questions. After a short examination, I was on my way. As far as these things go, it was a pleasing experience.

Beware of this office. They will start treatment then dismiss you under FALSE ACCUSATIONS ..., Feb 24, 2013
You WILL NOT get the medication you need for you hypertension. Janette, the office manager will dismiss you and tell lies to the insurance company after the doctor has been paid for the month with your medicare hmo plan to take care of you. Once you are seen 1 time with any HMO plan the insurance cannot retract the money they gave the doctor to provide care for the ENTIRE month. She will demand you leave and refuse to let you finish your appointment with the doctor WHILE YOU ARE IN AN EXAM ROOM. They send you to doctors for things you never were in there for and NOT treat you for the reason you came in. They order lab work and then refuse to give you the results. Being diabetic with hypertension, it is important for my medical well being to get such results to make sure the medication is either working or overworking. The doctor has had probation with disciplinary action which you can request information on. I hope this will help future patients in making a better informed decision about the doctor they see.
It Doesn't Get Better Than This - Great Primary Care Doc..., Feb 7, 2013
Unbelievable find. In this day and age its amazing that a doctor like this one exists - one who actually spends TIME with you. I came away feeling like he actually cared about me and not that I was just one of thousands of patients he sees. He made the visit a pleasant experience... and I'm one of those people who hates to go the doctor. With Dr. Don, I can't wait to go back. He's fun just to shoot the breeze with, and even better is the fact that you come away confident that he knows what he's doing. And the staff is great. A fantastic doc. Highly recommended.
Dr. Asher is the best ENT you'll find. She combines high intelligence with natural talent and a focu..., Dec 6, 2012
Dr. Asher has saved my life twice. My first visit to her office, she fixed a week of botched care from my former GP that had me in a very bad situation. A year later, she rushed to the hospital to stop my life-threatening bleeding. In every visit I've had with her, she's shown nothing but extreme competence, which I've found to be incredibly rare. Most doctors seem to just guess at the problem and toss out random pills. It's quite obvious Dr. Asher actually knows what she's doing and she's laser focused on getting things right the first time. She's actually fixed all my ENT problems so that now I only see her when I'm bringing someone else to her. She's also the first and only doctor I've ever recommended.
Bottom line: if you've gone 'round and 'round with other doctors trying to get your ENT problems fixed and you're ready to be done with it, make an appointment with Dr. Asher. You'll get more actual care in one visit with her than you've gotten everywhere else up 'til then.
