I recommend Dr. Montalbano all the time. In fact he just did a very new procedure on my son (which ..., Mar 16, 2012 Prior to my total knee replacement, the pain level was constantly between a 7-10. I was walking with a cane because my knee was constantly hurting me. Going up and down stairs was almost impossible. I was being woken up during the night from the knee pain and therefore was not getting a restful night’s sleep. I tried to exercise as much as possible but it was difficult. I started to become somewhat of a hermit because when you can’t walk you really can’t do much. I was starting to have to take time off of work because of the pain. Activitites that I lived doing, (dancing, racquet ball, walking) I wasn’t able to do any longer. I have been using Dr. Montalbano for over 10 years. I first saw him at Bayley Seton Hospital when he was taking care of another patient in the pre-op area. I was so impressed with how he was treating that patient that when he left I asked the woman who he was. Later on when I needed an orthopedist I went to see him and have been using him ever since. As far as office staff goes – I have never had a problem. Always courteous, polite, very informative, helpful and respectful of your privacy. (Even though I scheduled surgeries and cancelled them I was always treated the same.) Dr. Montalbano and his staff are always up on the latest surgical techniques, surgical procedures and treatments. Waiting time is usually not too long. When I would call in with any questions, someone always got back to me in a very reasonal amount of time. After finally scheduling the surgery, that I actually went through with, Dr. Montalbano and Michelle Pokrassa (RPA) went over the surgical procedure and any questions I had they went over with me several times until I felt that I was comfortable with the knowledge. The surgery went so much better than expected. I was so frightened of being in the hospital over a weekend but I have to say that the weekend staff was better than the weekday staff. I was very impressed with the surgery

I would recommend him to my friends and would use him again. ..., Mar 6, 2012 I was referred by my son- in- law who had shoulder surgery here by the doctor and was very happy with the final results. I also was very pleased with the care I received by the people here. They took me the same day my daughter called and put on the hard cast for me. They always answered all my questions and my wrist feels as good as it did before I broke it. I would recommend him to my friends and would use him again.

Excellent Doctor, nice staff and now pain free!!!!!..., Feb 20, 2012 I have been suffering with arthritis and joint pain since l966, when I had a childhood accident and dislocated my hip. After two years of doctors "practicing medicine" and finally taking a simple xray which showed the dislocation, I had my hip joint hastily put back in place with pins. Long story short.....I lost two inches of growth in my right leg during the time of dislocation and had developed scoliosis and other fun joint diseases. Fast forward thirty five years....and years of deterioration, bad limp, pain and arthritic joint disease....I learned of Dr. Greg Montalbano and decided to finally have my hip replaced. It was by far the best decision I have ever made. Dr. Greg calmed my fears, answered all my questions, and after surgery, not only was I pain free....but as an added bonus...my legs were even and I no longer had a limp. It was like winning the lottery. Dr. Montalbano is a caring, wonderful surgeon who has hands of gold. If you are reading this and are contemplating having hip replacement....I would advise you to run (wishful thinking)...not walk and have this truly life changing experience.....To be painfree...ying and yang...is only something shared by other joint disease patients who understand the agony of bone on bone torture. Last year I needed my left hip replaced, and I again enlisted Dr. Montalbano's help. He has always been there to help whenever I called or had a question or concern, and his service and staff are the best I have ever encountered. He is like family now and has given me my life back. I am grateful to Dr. Greg for his kindness, professionalism and skills....and sing his praises wherever I go. Sincerely, Elaine B.

I absoulutely would use Dr. Montalbano again and would refer him to family and friends..., Dec 19, 2011 When I started coming to Regional Orthopedics I was in a lot of pain and experienced limited to no activity. When I was brought to the emergency room Dr. Montalbano was the one who performed surgery on my right ankle. The healing process took longer than I would have liked but was no fault of the doctor. The pain has decreased but still some pain is present. I absoulutely would use Dr. Montalbano again and would refer him to family and friends.

Very pleasant experience with Dr. Montalbano and Staff..., Dec 19, 2011 At this point in time I have not had any surgeries. I found out about Dr. Montalbano when I was searching for GHI doctors on the GHI website. Also when I consulted with a workers compensation attorney the told me about Dr. Montalbano’s website and credentials. I have to say my experience over all has been going well with Regional Orthopedics, although I am still experiencing some pain but this is due to the fact that I am waiting on workers comp. to be approved. After all is said and done I am very pleased so far with the staff at regional orthopedics and the staff at peak performance.

Not a happy Doctor, seems depressed, unsure of himself...., Jun 5, 2013 Dr. Roman Tusinski does not seem to be a happy person or enjoying his job. He is very hesitant about his with his ability to make a decision. I do not think I have ever seen him smile, so how would you interpret that?? UNSURE? INSECURE? You be the judge if you elect to see him, I will leave it at that my friends. You can voice your freedom of speach as well. |

Appalled and Disappointed in my 4 Visits With Doctor..., May 5, 2013 This doctor is rude, doesn't listen to patients and your wait time to see her will be no shorter than 1 hour. Your appointment will be rushed, she will not answer your questions, but will walk quickly out the door to go to her next patient. Her entire set up of work is designed to make as much money as possible and keep the patient sick. She has 3 cars. 2 Mercedes and an Audi and acts like she is God. There is some serious narcissism going on and she needs to stop stealing money from vulnerable patients. |

Dr Fong is an extremely good doctor who is very knowledgeable. ..., Apr 29, 2013 Dr. Fong has done 3 knee surgeries on me (all necessary) and has done a wonderful job every time. I am very pleased with how he treats his patients and how his office makes you feel at home and like you are family. |

Please go elsewhere - terrible unorganized staff! ..., Apr 11, 2013 ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE STAFF. They are not helpful, do not call patients back with results (even after multiple voicemails over a period of WEEKS), keep irregular hours, and are not even at their office when they confirm with you the same day that they will be there! This makes it extremely difficult to coordinate the drop-off of post-surgery samples for their review. Also the information provided in the surgical info handouts given to patients conflict with each other AND with the info given by the doctor and yet again with the info given by the medical assistants. Completely unorganized. If your microscope is broken and you're waiting for a replacement microscope, why not call your patients and let them know so we don't have to call back week after week and leave voicemails? So stupid. Their behavior is inexcusable. Dr. Mullen himself did a decent job but I absolutely WILL NOT be back to see him and will not recommend other people to him. Terrible. |

AMAZING, considerate, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, 10 out of 10!!..., Mar 22, 2013 I went to Dr. F for my 2nd baby. He was so caring and considerate. He did not make me feel bad asking questions and did not act like he expected me to know everything. He helped me get out of a bad situation to focus on my growing baby. Dr. Fellenbaum noticed that my son was getting big by ultrasound and started monitoring me more closely. I started dilating early, but never went in to labor on my own as I did with my first. When I was dilated to 4 for a week we opted to induce. The hospital was understaffed when I arrived for my induction, and he made sure that the hospital knew it was unacceptable to leave his patients laboring while unsupervised. He did a great job on my son's circumcision and got us home as soon as possible (26 hours after delivery to be exact!), which I was very thankful for! He is a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable doctor!!! |
