Diagnosed a fibroid as "symptomatic" for right groin pain..., Nov 22, 2011 Basic anatomy really, isn't it? lower right groin pain can't be confused as uterine pain. Unless your goal is to confuse your patient and get her to agree to an unnecessary hystectomy. I lost my uterus for life for no reason at all, he pocketed a couple thousand. Moral of this story? Find a doctor with morals. |

Dr. Vinch is Knowledgable, caring, and patient centered..., Oct 28, 2011 I called Dr. Vinch because of chest pain. He told me he would meet me at the local ER and did! My EKG was normal according to the ER. Dr. Vinch kept me calm and updated my family. he organized for an urgent heart cath. They opened the blocked blood vessel causing my heart attack, and I had no damage to my my heart. I highly recommend him to my friends and family. Beware - Malpractice ..., Sep 23, 2011 I went under the knife in May 2011 to have a large fibro lipoma removed from my upper spine. Dr. Kramer performed the surgery, and it seemed all was well. It was evident within a couple weeks that there was still a fairly good sized bulge remaining. After waiting for the wound and stitches to heal, and for the swelling to go down, I went back in to see Dr. Kramer about the tumor still present. To my astonishment, all Kramer had to say was that he probably should have had me laying on my stomach for the operation rather than on my side, and therefore he only removed part of the tumor. I was informed my only option was to go back under the knife for a second operation, and would now have to pay double the amount originally paid, all due to the malpractice of the doctor. Even though I returned within less than 90 days, Kramer and staff were unwilling to assist me with out-of-pocket expenses, even after they admitted fault. When I asked why I should have to pay twice to have something done that should have been taken care of with one surgery, Kramer immediately got an attitude with me and had the gall to state that I was asking him to commit insurance fraud. All I was asking was that my additional out of pocket fees for their work to be billed to their office rather than to me, which seems perfectly fair, considering they didn't do what I paid them to do. Now I'm facing the fact that I have to once again take time off from work, pay TWICE (~$2K) for the same procedure, and basically deal with all the unpleasantness of going to the hospital and dealing with another surgery and recovery. I am astonished at the complete unwillingness of Advanced Surgical Associates - notably Dr. Kramer - to take accountability and make things right. At this time, I'm seeking assistance from an attorney to lodge a malpractice suit. Needless to say, I am one EXTREMELY dissatisfied customer, and I sincerely hope you heed my words and take your business and health to a more experie |
