RUDE, HURTFUL, NO FEELINGS FOR PEOPLE, LIKE A METH ADDICT..., May 10, 2013 I had my 2 small children for a check up. This doctor bryan ledbetter said"shut up and I will see your kids or leave". I was not angry when I told him the medicine he prescribed has not rid my daughter's lice.. i was and am very frustrated. she goes to daycare while i go to RN school. I asked for a stronger medicine rather than the OTC he gave me last week. No, he gave Bactrim Suspension! |

Doctor Charges you for asking you questions on your baby...., Mar 1, 2013 Short Story: THIS DOCTOR OVERCHARGES FOR SERVICES THAT THEY DID NOT EVER PROVIDE. BEWARE!! Long Story: This is my daughter pediatrician since birth. She is now 20 months old. We have roughly 10 or so wellness checkups as is the norm for babies. Every month or so. Every time we have gone, the wait time is ridiculous. At least 30-45 mins. The time with the doctor feels rushed and the service not very warm. Those are the positives. Now the bad part. Recently Dr. Lee saw my daughter for a routine wellness check up. These are covered by my insurance at no charge. The doctor took 45 mins to see me. Then proceeded to ask me when she came in "How long did my girl have a respiratory infection?' This was apparently because my baby had some snot hanging from her nose. Who knew? Babies that are snotty all have respiratory infections? Well anyhow, it was the first time in over a week that my daughter had a runny nose and I informed the doctor that it was nothing more than a runny nose and it just started. So the check up proceeded and Dr. Lee asked me about my wife’s and my decision to not vaccine our daughter. To which I said, we had not changed our mind and that we were still keeping that opinion. The doctor of course getting paid by the pharma group to give these pushed them again, to which we declined. So finally the doctor continued on with the wellness check only to say my girls weight was a little big, but not to be concerned. Finally, as the doctor was checking with my girls legs and arms and what not, she asked if I had any questions. To which I said one. My daughter had some dry skin on her back. I asked the doctor if she had any recommendations for what to put on the dry skin. The doctor said cortisone cream. So after all of this, the visit wasn’t the problem. The invoice for services was. would not recommend this doctor was horrible disatisfied with staff and the 2 minutes spend with the..., Feb 19, 2013 would not recomend the waiting time is ridiculous i was an hour early for my appt at 2:30 did not get seen until 3:50 by 3:52 i was out of the office was not able to ask any questions on my daughters ruptured eardrum i dont think my daughter should get water in it but i guess i have to wait till i find another dr to be able to ask any questions. i would definitely not recomend this dr nor his facility the staff is horrible made me feel like it was my fault the front clerk forgot to sign me in an hour ago save your time and money i went to his south alamo location on barlite very disapointed in all services with them. |

It Doesn't Get Better Than This - Great Primary Care Doc..., Feb 7, 2013 Unbelievable find. In this day and age its amazing that a doctor like this one exists - one who actually spends TIME with you. I came away feeling like he actually cared about me and not that I was just one of thousands of patients he sees. He made the visit a pleasant experience... and I'm one of those people who hates to go the doctor. With Dr. Don, I can't wait to go back. He's fun just to shoot the breeze with, and even better is the fact that you come away confident that he knows what he's doing. And the staff is great. A fantastic doc. Highly recommended. |

The worst experience I've ever had with a doctor! So disappointed!..., Jan 28, 2013 Didn't like Tidwell AT ALL.Judy the NP was sweet but didn't agree with all her advice either.A couple of the office staff were nice including Kay,but receptionist Mina was extremely rude once I decided to leave Tidwell.At 34 weeks Tidwell started implying I might need to deliver early.The first "problem" was the baby wasn't showing sufficient weight gain.Then fluid in the sack seemed low.The next day it was fine.Then baby wasn't moving enough.Then baby showed signs of stress during contractions.Then baby's heartbeat didn't accelerate and stay accelereated during contractions.Every time I went something new was wrong,but the next day the issue would be resolved.VERY SUSPICIOUS!@ 36 weeks I switched to the midwives.I knew they wouldn't pressure me to have a c-section unless it was totally necessary!I had my baby at 38 weeks. He was completely healthy @ 7.1 lbs and 20 1/2 in.Thank you Jesus!Delivery took 4 1/2 hrs but I only pushed 45 minutes!I went all natural.No epidural or anything!My advice:have the courage to leave before it's too late! |
