Lousy overpriced doctor, horrible location, very unproffessional staff..., Jan 24, 2012

I went for a routine visit, and was reassured by the staff that it would be covered by my insurance...then when I finished I find out its not! The staff clearly didn't know what they were talking about, and just told me that so I could come in and make the appointment. The Doctor just rushed the entire visit and didn't even seem concerned about me. I got a very bad vibe that he didn't really know what he was doing, and most of the time he just had the assistants do all the work. Will never go again.
Dr. V Has Really Helped Me With My Back Pain In Just Two Months..., Nov 30, 2011

I have been coming to Dr. V for about two months now and I cannot express how happy I am to have made this decision! I came in, skeptical, after having thrown out my back. I could not walk, sit, stand, or take care of my newborn son without experiencing extreme pain, at only 21! I was religiously taking pain killers, but nothing was getting better. After only two weeks of treatment my pain was gone! I could play with my son again! I was so happy with my treatment; I even brought my son in for a check-up. After having been pulled out at birth, he had been having trouble rotating his head both directions. After only two adjustments (that's right, TWO!) my son is looking both ways with no problems and he has been happier ever since. I'm so happy I came to Care Chiropractic and even happier I brought my son in. Thanks to Dr.V, I can look forward to a happy and healthy life for me and my son. Thank you, I couldn't have asked for a better SOLUTION.
Worst customer service from a Dr.'s office that I have ever witnessed..., Nov 17, 2011

On November 16th, 2011 I wanted to go to Dr. Salas to find out what was causing the pain in my neck and back. When I called the office to schedule an appointment, a woman named Mary Ann picked up. I asked where the address was and she rudely said that it was across the street from the hospital. I didn’t know where the hospital was, and wanted to get the address from her so I could GPS it. She wouldn’t give it to me for some reason. It didn’t bother me at first, but when I told her I would be there in 20 minutes to fill out paper work, she said whatever and hung up the phone on me. I thought it was extremely rude and that maybe I should just find a different doctor. I called back to try and talk to Dr. Salas about the issue, but Marry Ann would not get him for me or give me his email address. I told her I would not schedule an appointment with them if she was going to continue being rude and having poor customer service. Before I could even ask for Dr. Salas’ email address she hung up on me. I really wanted to talk to Dr. Salas and inform him of Mary Ann’s rude behavior, so I went into his office to speak with him. I asked to speak with a supervisor and it ended up being Mary Ann. I told her I was offended by how rude she was and that I would like to speak with Dr. Salas or to give me his email address. She said if I didn’t leave she would call the cops on me. I couldn’t believe it, all I wanted was an email address, but she thought she could call the cops on me so Dr. Salas wouldn’t find out, or receive a complaint about her. I never was rude or used foul language to instigate such a response from her. I guess she has never heard of the internet. I never had the chance to actually meet Dr. Michael Salas, so I can’t review on how he is as a doctor, but after I witnessed who he hired as a supervisor. I am inclined to think that he must not be that good if he can’t hire someone with good customer service. It all starts at the top with a business’
Fine needle aspiration for suspicious thyroid nodule..., Nov 4, 2011

I had an ultrasound to investigate a nodule found my endocrinologist. The us revealed some suspicious findings so a fine needle aspiration was scheduled. This Dr. rushed through an ultrasound provided by a tech that made me question her skills, and then pronounced that both the radiologist and the endo were incorrect in calling what I had a nodule nor was he concerned about it and he wouldn't do the aspiration.
Syay away from her and Du Page Medical Group OBGYN department..., Oct 19, 2011

Marilanne Johnson does not care for her patients, she refused to fill pregnancy leave form for my wife, and send her back to work with severe pain in 8 months of her pregnancy. I tried to call with her supervisor Cindy Tygart but she never answer her phone and did not call me back even I left her my phone number and the reason for my call.
