Provided extremely poor treatment for my father's cancer..., Jan 25, 2012 Dr. D. treated my dad's throat cancer (a term he never used with any of us). Dad responded very well to chemo and would have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. (His tumor in his neck had burst and he had a nasty wound that he had to deal with, but even it was doing well as he was switched to a milder chemo routine to keep the cancer from growing. And he was doing really well with that treatment.) Dad developed a knee infection and Dr. D stopped all treatment until knee doc released him. Dr. D continued to ignore my phone calls that dad's neck wound was really looking bad, saying he could do nothing for him at this time. Finally, knee doc suggested knee treatment be put on hold so cancer could be treated. So Dad went to see Dr. D and he still said there wasn't anything he could do right now, and he refused to look at his neck when asked to (of course, dad kept it bandaged). We brought dad to Louisville for treatment, but it was too late by then. The oncology doctors in Louisville were just mortified at his neck and the treatment he had received. They found it unimaginable that Dr. D. never looked at his neck (the actual cancer) and ignored his cancer treatment during the course of treatment of the knee infection (9 weeks approximately). Of course, we are heartbroken. I only tell my story in the hopes of helping someone else. In the end, dad regretted mine and my sister's pleas to get a second opinion in Louisville from the beginning. That one step could have changed everything. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice in choosing their oncologist. |

Dr. V Has Really Helped Me With My Back Pain In Just Two Months..., Nov 30, 2011 I have been coming to Dr. V for about two months now and I cannot express how happy I am to have made this decision! I came in, skeptical, after having thrown out my back. I could not walk, sit, stand, or take care of my newborn son without experiencing extreme pain, at only 21! I was religiously taking pain killers, but nothing was getting better. After only two weeks of treatment my pain was gone! I could play with my son again! I was so happy with my treatment; I even brought my son in for a check-up. After having been pulled out at birth, he had been having trouble rotating his head both directions. After only two adjustments (that's right, TWO!) my son is looking both ways with no problems and he has been happier ever since. I'm so happy I came to Care Chiropractic and even happier I brought my son in. Thanks to Dr.V, I can look forward to a happy and healthy life for me and my son. Thank you, I couldn't have asked for a better SOLUTION. |

Beware - Malpractice ..., Sep 23, 2011 I went under the knife in May 2011 to have a large fibro lipoma removed from my upper spine. Dr. Kramer performed the surgery, and it seemed all was well. It was evident within a couple weeks that there was still a fairly good sized bulge remaining. After waiting for the wound and stitches to heal, and for the swelling to go down, I went back in to see Dr. Kramer about the tumor still present. To my astonishment, all Kramer had to say was that he probably should have had me laying on my stomach for the operation rather than on my side, and therefore he only removed part of the tumor. I was informed my only option was to go back under the knife for a second operation, and would now have to pay double the amount originally paid, all due to the malpractice of the doctor. Even though I returned within less than 90 days, Kramer and staff were unwilling to assist me with out-of-pocket expenses, even after they admitted fault. When I asked why I should have to pay twice to have something done that should have been taken care of with one surgery, Kramer immediately got an attitude with me and had the gall to state that I was asking him to commit insurance fraud. All I was asking was that my additional out of pocket fees for their work to be billed to their office rather than to me, which seems perfectly fair, considering they didn't do what I paid them to do. Now I'm facing the fact that I have to once again take time off from work, pay TWICE (~$2K) for the same procedure, and basically deal with all the unpleasantness of going to the hospital and dealing with another surgery and recovery. I am astonished at the complete unwillingness of Advanced Surgical Associates - notably Dr. Kramer - to take accountability and make things right. At this time, I'm seeking assistance from an attorney to lodge a malpractice suit. Needless to say, I am one EXTREMELY dissatisfied customer, and I sincerely hope you heed my words and take your business and health to a more experie |

So I'm a liar, and I'm coming for treatment for attention?..., Aug 15, 2011 I came to Dr. Kosobucki because I injured my knee and hip. I asked for a wheelchair because I was having so much trouble walking and I don't have the support of my coworkers and family in getting around. I have problems with my hands so crutches are hard for me. His notes state that he believes I'm a 'malinger', which means that I'm lying and making everything up for attention. His reasons? I've agreed to have knee surgery and I don't take my pain medicine and I went to the beach. I expressed to him that I'm allergic to the pain medicine and I went to the beach for my best friends bachelorette party and was miserable because of the pain the whole time, but he still thinks that I'm a liar. |
