Patient for orthoscopic knee surgery. Very dissatisfied with care, result and staff issues! ..., May 21, 2012 I had a knee (minuscus) surgery performed there in 2010. They indicated that I would be back to 100% in about 10 days after this orthosopic surgery. Instead, I have been plagued with pain ever since. I did all the therapy, taken cordizone and suparts to no avail. Along the way I have had issues with the staff over appointments and payments. They have claimed on two occasions that I was grossly delinquent on payments..... first example was when I was taking a 6 week round of supparts injections. They indicated at the start that the insurance paid it all, until they discovered that this wasn't true and upon one of my last visits for this, they initially tried to suspend any further treatment until my account was paid in full....something less than $100.00. Having serious pain issues, I booked an appointment with the Doctor, who I almost never saw, always relegated to a PA, and waited the ap[proximate two months to see the Dr, before the office staff called and said I owed them $106 and the Dr would not see me until I had paid this in full and all of this years deductible, in advance.... because of my past payment history..... a one time error, that they were responsible for. I believe, personally, that the Dr. violated his Hippocratic Oath when he refused to see me based upon this. His staff would not allow me to speak direct to him and then charged me .65 cents a page for my records. I have subsequently heard that this Dr. is great for shoulders, nut that knees are not his specialty. Based upon my experience, I would agree, since I still have a serious problem with my knee. Some months after the unsuccessful surgery, they indicated to me that I might be a good candidate for a whole knee replacement....something not even remotely on the radar before the orthoscopic minuscus surgery. Based upon the level of professionalism from the office staff and the fact that I have not achieved the desired level of health promised, I would not recommend this Dr. for any surgery or |

Worst experience & Wrong Diagnosis for 84 yr old father..., Feb 23, 2012 Would not address my father during appointments; subjected him to at least 4-5 hospital visits when complaining of non-stop pain around abdomen, side area - When changed doctor & hospital, compression fracture in his spine was discovered/treated w/in 48 hrs. Did not care for his bedside manner, staff, or nurses aides. |

Lousy overpriced doctor, horrible location, very unproffessional staff..., Jan 24, 2012 I went for a routine visit, and was reassured by the staff that it would be covered by my insurance...then when I finished I find out its not! The staff clearly didn't know what they were talking about, and just told me that so I could come in and make the appointment. The Doctor just rushed the entire visit and didn't even seem concerned about me. I got a very bad vibe that he didn't really know what he was doing, and most of the time he just had the assistants do all the work. Will never go again. |

The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients who get referred to him by their primary care physicians. I am 73 years old and my visit which is covered by Medicare and Medical ended up being billed for $225!!! for a half an hour visit. Well, the eye pressure was checked. The insurance didn't pay for $134.90 out of this amount. The office failed to warn that they don't take Medical and about the deductible on Medicare. When asked, I was assured that the visit will be covered. Anyway - now they threaten to turn the whole thing to the collections. Shameless! I live on a limited income of about $600 a month and can't afford to pay that much for a visit. The attempts to negotiate the bill have always ended up with the inability of his office to get the right info about the Medical. But this is not all. During the visit the doc kept pushing his glasses and contacts and was very irritated when we politely rejected the offers. Very awkward. It feels like they are trying to survive at the cost of the most vulnerable. I would never go there again. |

No help or care, no followup and a big, unexpected bill. ..., Nov 26, 2011 I was very unhappy with my visit to Dr. Lin. I had a painful ear problem that had been going on for a month, and all she did was look in my ear and say she didn't find anything. No inquires about how long I've had the problem and attempt to investigate the issue. She eventually did a very small procedures that she said might help or might not, and then charged the procedure as ambulatory surgery so that I would have to pay for half the cost instead just an office visit which is covered. Despite the fact that I left in pain, she never followed-up and never even attempted to help figure out what is wrong with me. I'm still in pain. |
