Misdiagnosis by Dr Larry Woodard My Daughters Story..., Feb 1, 2012 This Dr. Misdiagnosed my daughter with having the flu and did not run the proper tests needed for a proper diagnosis She was later properly diagnosed at another hospital with meningitis and encephalitis after having a spinal tab. because Encephalitis needs a prompt diagnosis for treatment to begin for recovery she was denied that chance and was put on life support died Thanksgiving day 2006. I hope her story will help other before choosing this Dr. at this hospital |

My visit to Dr Jankelowitz's office was a very pleasant experience..., Jan 22, 2012 Patient, caring, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have as my doctor. Office staff were wonderful. Wait was short. Dr J spent time talking to me and my family. He answered all my questions and never seemed to rush me. |

Never expected this from a Medical Professional......., Sep 22, 2011 TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL ALL THE WAY AROUND I was recommended by coworkers to go to this Doctor since my previous Doctor retired.Upon walking in to the office all looks professional, but when I met with him everything changed. He had a attitude of a "pompas ass". I explained to him I was looking for a new primary care physician because mine retired.Dr Alonso asked me who my former physican name was and he replied "Script Writer". He also stated that."I better not be DR. shopping in order to get scripts". I explained to him I am a NYC Paramedic with 10years on the job, and never needed a script. He looked at me and laughed. At that point I was insulted and should have walked out but I decided to give him the benefit and let him proceed with the blood work-up. As he was drawing blood I noticed he wasn't wearing gloves which is a big "no no" in the health care field and the topper was he returned the Vacutainer holder along with the tourniquet to the draw for use again on another patient.I questioned him on it because we are taught never to re use any supplies on a patient and I explained it to him He said with a smile"What did you say you do for a living and I stated a Paramedic". His insulting reply was "You guys in NYC may waste money and throw out supplies but not in my office, I discard them when I deem necessary. You are only a Paramedic with a crash course in medicine but I went to medical School and made doctor, Who are you to judge me?Never in my life have I ever been insulted by someone in the Medical field and will never put my foot back in his office. I certainally advise caution in going to this mans practice. |

So I'm a liar, and I'm coming for treatment for attention?..., Aug 15, 2011 I came to Dr. Kosobucki because I injured my knee and hip. I asked for a wheelchair because I was having so much trouble walking and I don't have the support of my coworkers and family in getting around. I have problems with my hands so crutches are hard for me. His notes state that he believes I'm a 'malinger', which means that I'm lying and making everything up for attention. His reasons? I've agreed to have knee surgery and I don't take my pain medicine and I went to the beach. I expressed to him that I'm allergic to the pain medicine and I went to the beach for my best friends bachelorette party and was miserable because of the pain the whole time, but he still thinks that I'm a liar. |
