The staff was cold and indifferent. I was glad I was only there for a one-time specialty appointmen..., Apr 23, 2010 I arrived for my appointment ten minutes before the scheduled time, and ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes past my appointment time. When I approached the reception area to find out what was happening, the receptionist had no idea, and couldn't give me any reasons or ideas why or when I would be seen. Once I was called back, the nurse was indifferent to me, and never cracked a smile. The doctor, however, was very nice. He was training a resident, and he was extremely patient and thorough. He answered all my questions, got to know me, and spoke to me in terms I could understand. I am glad, however, that it was a specialty OB visit, and I will not have to return to that office anytime soon. If I were basing this just on the doctor, I would recommend a friend. However, the rest of the staff was greatly lacking, so I am not sure I would pass a referral on. |

Not overly impressed with her as a doctor...not at all..., Apr 3, 2010 I'm pretty unhappy with her as a doctor. She really doesn't pay attention to her patients and makes ridiculous suggestions. She accused us of feeding my son junk food at 2, because she feels that store bought crackers are junk food. She also told a non-hodgekins lymphoma patient she should consider botox to look younger...I was happy to finally find another doctor. |

Thyroid problem. ,consulted due to a minor external bulging on throat..., Apr 1, 2010 I consulted doctor due to a minor external bulging on throat.I had the problem of excess hair falling also.After consultation,doctor told me to do one blood test in order to evaluate TSH activity.Doctor could finalyse that the problem is of thyroid hormone after seeing the blood test,which was abnormal.He advised me to take one tablet,Thyronorm, daily. |

Dr. Wintle is an awesome Dr. I am always impressed by how knowledgeable he is and how friendly he i..., Mar 15, 2010 Our last visit to Dr. Wintle was for my sons 18 month check up. One of the things I am always impressed with when we go to Dr. Wintle is that he remembers us by first name and remembers things about our life. Most doctors don't care to do that. He is great with my kids and is very knowledgeable. My only complaint about this visit is the receptionists. They are not very friendly and seem annoyed when I try talking to them. The only reason I continue to go to Dr. Wintle is because he is awesome. If I chose where to go to the doctor based on customer service I would definitely go somewhere that had friendlier receptionists. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wintle to anyone. |
