excellent doctor for all ages options, reasonable ..., Feb 21, 2012 my 14 yr old daughter ripped her ACL off and he empathized with her and always had her best interest at heart. because her growth plates werent closed yet, he waited to do surgery to replace this absent ligament. also giving her the option to strength train to allow a possibility of no surgery at all. I am very pleased with him as a doctor and a person.he is very reasonable prices for the time he takes with every patient answering all the questions you have and explaining |

Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012 DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. Dr. Samuel Lam, Lam Facial Plastics, Fat Grafting...., Dec 30, 2011 Mr. Lam said he just wanted to make my face “Look Beautiful” with fat grafting but he made me look like I have Cushings and one eye looks more lopsided than the other. He injected fat into my brows and now I permanently like an angry man. He tells people what they want to hear and told me it would get better, it didn’t it got worse and more lopsided over the years. I’m an adult, least he could have done was be honest instead of telling me nonsense to make himself sound knowledgeable. He is bloody eloquent and so confident you can’t help but believe him and not realize he has atrocious technical ability. He charged just under $9000 which is the biggest ripoff in the history of mankind. What enfuriates me is that he’s had failed surgeries before and he violated their civil rights by having those ratings removed by his lawyers and cronies at Medical Justice. Those POSTINGS COULD HAVE SAVED MY LIFE from this person and I wish more than anything that I need not be writing this right now. |
