Regarding our appointment this morning of May 14, 2013. Upon arriving my 94 year old mother was anxious to to avail herself to the services of Dr. Kligman for chronic neck pain. I had been referred to Dr. Kligman by my personal physician. Upon presenting my mothers insurance card we were informed that it would not be excepted as Dr. Kligman was not listed as the primary care physician. I was disappointed to say the least when i was informed of this, as it was never explained to me when the appointment for a new patient was made that Dr. Kligman would have to be elected as her primary care physician in order for her insurance card to be accepted and to be seen by the Dr. I told the receptionist behind the desk that Healthnet would absolutely pay as I occasionally bring my mother to other primary care physicians that are not listed on her insurance card with out issues from the insurance company (healthnet). No avenue of resolution was offered by the receptionist, and in my opinion I was treated very rudely and was also told that my attitude was not appreciated, at which time I told her I also did not appreciate her shortness with me either, to which she exclaimed that I came into the office with that attitude, which is NOT the case. I became agitated because after waiting 4 months for this appointment I felt that it was neglgent on their part that we were never informed that in order to be seen we would need to elect Dr. Kligman as our primary care physician prior to our appointment. I believe this was an oversight in their policy and not a fault of the patient. I asked her to call the insurance company to verify that there would be no problem and was rebuffed, at which time I thought it best that I call the insurance company so their office would be assured of payment. Run from this place. This doctor will see you as a number and a paycheck and nothing else. Your treatment will not be tailored to you, it's a one treatment fits all approach here. During the course of my treatment, unneeded tests and procedures were performed and needed tests missed. The wrong medication instructions were given on several occasions and of course I couldn't reach anyone before the time I was supposed to take them. Dr Gell does not liked to be questioned about what she's doing and will respond to questions with an attitude during remaining treatments. I had 2 failed IVF treatments here (same protocol both times because Dr Gell wouldn't alter her treatment) and ended up losing all embryos before transfer day for both cycles.

Dr. Alexander Feldman is a very thorough physician. He has great bedside manner, is very soft spoken and spent a lot of time with me during each visit (three so far!) in the past two months. What stood out was the amount of quality time and care spent during each appointment. He wasn’t like most doctors trying to cram as many patients into a 30 minute slot. He was more focused on quality of care, making sure to complete a detailed examination and communicating options clearly. He is very knowledgeable, detailed and communicative. He explained what he thought was wrong and what my options were to diagnose my symptoms. He did not pressure me to have unnecessary tests. Once diagnosed, he provided visual aids, even drew some diagrams to chart the course of progression. He also provided treatment options and reading material for those options. He is personable and calls you directly to communicate any lab/test results. His calm demeanor is also very reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman as an A++ physician! Thank you! Although the same cannot be said for this staff – they are a little rough around the edges. If you can get past that, you will not be disappointed by the doctor himself!

Excellent psychiatrist. Provides great care without over-medicating. I worked with a few psychiatrists before her that kept adding medications. She reduced the number of medications I take and I feel much better.
  Awful experience. Dr. suggested disability but refused to complete disability paperwork...., Dec 3, 2012

This Dr suggested I consider going on disabililty on 2 separate occassions. When I agreed, I obtained necessary paperwork and she absolutely refused to complete 1 and a half pages of paperwork and sign it. This paperwork was for my disability insurance from my employer. I followed every single instruction she gave me. She terminated me as a patient. This sent me over the edge and I ended up in a psyche treatement center with suicide attempt. Avoid this "doctor" at all costs.
