I recently saw Dr. Catherine Nagy in Auburn, CA for an existing allergy condition and found her to be very helpful. I didn’t have to wait forever in the waiting room and she took the time to answer all my questions and to explain which medications would be best and why, including any potential side effects. I highly recommend seeing her if you live in the area and suffer allergies as well.

I am not sure if he pays attention on patient reviews..., Feb 6, 2012

Unhelpful, sarcastic, self-assured. Easy to get appointment in, but then.... I am disappointed and would advise that he takes some fellowships or conituing education courses and then rejoin his colleges in oractice.
Provided extremely poor treatment for my father's cancer..., Jan 25, 2012

Dr. D. treated my dad's throat cancer (a term he never used with any of us). Dad responded very well to chemo and would have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. (His tumor in his neck had burst and he had a nasty wound that he had to deal with, but even it was doing well as he was switched to a milder chemo routine to keep the cancer from growing. And he was doing really well with that treatment.) Dad developed a knee infection and Dr. D stopped all treatment until knee doc released him. Dr. D continued to ignore my phone calls that dad's neck wound was really looking bad, saying he could do nothing for him at this time. Finally, knee doc suggested knee treatment be put on hold so cancer could be treated. So Dad went to see Dr. D and he still said there wasn't anything he could do right now, and he refused to look at his neck when asked to (of course, dad kept it bandaged). We brought dad to Louisville for treatment, but it was too late by then. The oncology doctors in Louisville were just mortified at his neck and the treatment he had received. They found it unimaginable that Dr. D. never looked at his neck (the actual cancer) and ignored his cancer treatment during the course of treatment of the knee infection (9 weeks approximately). Of course, we are heartbroken. I only tell my story in the hopes of helping someone else. In the end, dad regretted mine and my sister's pleas to get a second opinion in Louisville from the beginning. That one step could have changed everything. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice in choosing their oncologist.

Awful Dr, No Bedside Manner, no compassion, RUDE!!!..., Nov 15, 2011

Ive been Diabetic for 25yrs.I got ketones w/a reading of 849.Tried to get an emergency appt.He couldnt see me for 2wks!I ended up in a hosp. When he came to see me he treated me like a kid, didnt listen to me or my ?s.I thought it was insulin resistance W/o checking my meds or pump he said NO.I asked if it was allergies like a fever/cold causing insulin to not work properly, he said hed NEVER heard of that & told me to stop trying to come up w/ excuses. He asked why I hadnt come back to him sooner & it was b/c HE wanted me to go to other Drs before returning & it took time to do so.He asked how I had tried to get the B.S down & told me that once the B.S got 400+ that I shouldve taken a syringe, pulled up EXTRA insulin & injected it.I said a past Dr told me to do that but only w/a sliding scale & w/ Regular insulin not Novolog, that Id overdose. He showed NO BEDSIDE MANNER.I was in TEARS.THEN he sent a certified letter 2 days later dismissing me from his care w/o a reason!DO NOT GO TO HIM!
Kind, Compassionate, Respectful, and Knowledgable... What more could you as for in an OB/GYNE..., Oct 12, 2011

Dr Adeli is a very knowledgable, kind, and compassionate doctor. I have always felt extremely comfortable seeing him. He always has the right answer when it comes to me specifically. He takes the time to actually listen to what you are saying and come up with a plan that works best for you the patient. I believe he has always had my best interest in mind in regards to my health and my babies health. I would and do recommend Dr Adeli to anyone looking for an OB or a GYNE!
