Not only is my doctor very knowledgeable, but she always remembers my name and remembers our small t..., Mar 10, 2010 I would highly recommend my doctor. No matter how nervous I am when it comes to my visit, she always has a way of bringing reality into back into the picture and indirectly calming an anxious patient like me down. Whether she is joking about recent pop media or joining in with laughing with me at how silly I am for being so nervous, she always has a way of making my doctor visit almost enjoyable. She has an easy, casual way about her demeanor and it is very disarming for people that may be skeptical of the medical industry. She is a real person with a real sense of humor and an acute awareness of the various emotions different patients may have. Although she works out of a tiny office that is usually pretty booked and busy, she thinks and therefore speaks fast and can answer your questions thoroghly in the 20 minute alotted time frame that my kind of paranoid visits are usually booked for. The office she works at is open Monday through friday with new Urgent Care hours on Saturday however I do not know if she is one of the doctors that are available for urgent care. I also know that she does work at a different facility at least one or two days out of the week so sometimes it is hard to get her for an appointment and not her fill-in. However even when I get a different doctor at this location, I still have no complaints. Even the nurses who call you in are funny and pleasant. The wait time can sometimes be up to a half an hour once you are in your little room, but relatively quick once you check in. Either way, wait or not, Dr. Ghormely is worth the wait and the visit if just to feel like you are acknowledged and considered as a real human being yourself.

Buyer Beware This Dr. barely takes time to talk to the patient, then blindsides the family member...., Feb 9, 2012 I took my Mom in for a migraine. She had not slept for five days because of it and was hallucinating. Dr. Gagan didn't consider that her blood pressure meds. or her migraine meds or the meds they were giving her in an I. V. could have caused this. Or the fact that her thyroid was off. He recommended Resperidal for her. He left the info with me and split, his visit with her all of two minutes or so. I read the med. info and thought he was trying to kill her. It was for schizophrenics mainly. He also said it was for depression. I told him the next day I thought she just needed some sleep. He returned the next day pushing the same drug. I again answered in the negative. A few hours later the pill came via the nurse. At that point I thought I had no choice, as my last two answers had gone unnoticed. I foolishly gave my Mom the med. She became paranoid and scared for her life for the next three days. I was told they didnt know if she would ever be the same. She had two seizures and is now on Keppra. His only reply was that he could give her a different set of meds. He is cold and easily offended. He left me and the other Dr.s and nurses to clean up his mess. It took us eight days total. All over a migraine. All Dr.s covered for him. I'll never forgive myself for not fighting him to the death if thats what it took to defend my helpless Mom. |

Dr. V Has Really Helped Me With My Back Pain In Just Two Months..., Nov 30, 2011 I have been coming to Dr. V for about two months now and I cannot express how happy I am to have made this decision! I came in, skeptical, after having thrown out my back. I could not walk, sit, stand, or take care of my newborn son without experiencing extreme pain, at only 21! I was religiously taking pain killers, but nothing was getting better. After only two weeks of treatment my pain was gone! I could play with my son again! I was so happy with my treatment; I even brought my son in for a check-up. After having been pulled out at birth, he had been having trouble rotating his head both directions. After only two adjustments (that's right, TWO!) my son is looking both ways with no problems and he has been happier ever since. I'm so happy I came to Care Chiropractic and even happier I brought my son in. Thanks to Dr.V, I can look forward to a happy and healthy life for me and my son. Thank you, I couldn't have asked for a better SOLUTION. |

Dr. Vinch is Knowledgable, caring, and patient centered..., Oct 28, 2011 I called Dr. Vinch because of chest pain. He told me he would meet me at the local ER and did! My EKG was normal according to the ER. Dr. Vinch kept me calm and updated my family. he organized for an urgent heart cath. They opened the blocked blood vessel causing my heart attack, and I had no damage to my my heart. I highly recommend him to my friends and family. Willard Andrews Oncologist Abington Hospital, Abington PA..., Sep 10, 2011 I can't say one good word about Dr. Andrews, nor Abington Hospital. It was a big mistake to rely on Dr. Andrew's to care for my elderly family member. The patient died, while Andrew's administered no cancer treatment. A top cancer center submitted a conflicting 2nd opinion. Andrews put a spin on the diagnose, to protect himself, at the ultimate expense of the patient. Andrews did not administer cancer treatment and the patient succumbed. There are plenty of very good cancer centers in the Abington, PA area. There is no reason to go to Abington Hospital and be subjected to Dr. Andrews. |
