  WARNING: Very Negligent Doctor who abandoned me when I needed him most..., Apr 15, 2012

If you are reading this review you are probably wondering if Dr. Radnovich is a doctor who may be able to help you. I read all the good reviews and thought he was the doctor for me. I felt very confident that he would be able to help me when I left his office after my initial examination. However, shortly after taking the medication Dr. Radnovich told me I needed, I experienced some concerning side effects. Dr. Radnovich promised me I could call him if I had any questions or concerns about the medications but when I tried to contact him about what was happening to me, no one answered the phone. I left messages for three days about needing his help and he never called me back. Meanwhile my side effects became severe enough to send me to the ER. Afterwards, I tried contacting Dr. Radnovich six times to inform him about what happened to me and I never heard back from him. He failed me. I don’t want this to happen to you so please consider my warning. No amount of positive reviews will change my scary experience or pay the thousand of dollars it cost me at the ER. Dr. Radnovich gave me hope and then he deserted me. From my perspective, he is a very negligent doctor.

Prior to my total knee replacement, the pain level was constantly between a 7-10. I was walking with a cane because my knee was constantly hurting me. Going up and down stairs was almost impossible. I was being woken up during the night from the knee pain and therefore was not getting a restful night’s sleep. I tried to exercise as much as possible but it was difficult. I started to become somewhat of a hermit because when you can’t walk you really can’t do much. I was starting to have to take time off of work because of the pain. Activitites that I lived doing, (dancing, racquet ball, walking) I wasn’t able to do any longer. I have been using Dr. Montalbano for over 10 years. I first saw him at Bayley Seton Hospital when he was taking care of another patient in the pre-op area. I was so impressed with how he was treating that patient that when he left I asked the woman who he was. Later on when I needed an orthopedist I went to see him and have been using him ever since. As far as office staff goes – I have never had a problem. Always courteous, polite, very informative, helpful and respectful of your privacy. (Even though I scheduled surgeries and cancelled them I was always treated the same.) Dr. Montalbano and his staff are always up on the latest surgical techniques, surgical procedures and treatments. Waiting time is usually not too long. When I would call in with any questions, someone always got back to me in a very reasonal amount of time. After finally scheduling the surgery, that I actually went through with, Dr. Montalbano and Michelle Pokrassa (RPA) went over the surgical procedure and any questions I had they went over with me several times until I felt that I was comfortable with the knowledge. The surgery went so much better than expected. I was so frightened of being in the hospital over a weekend but I have to say that the weekend staff was better than the weekday staff. Nice lady, but... lacks experience and concrete experience. Great at giving referrals and free prescription pills. Definitely has an arrogant and condescending attitude. Office staff isn't that helpful or welcoming either.
  This Doctor is recommending Guardasil for Boys knowing it is not covered by most insurance..., Dec 30, 2011

We feel this Doctor's office breached trust with us by recommending a Guardasil shot for our son during a routine physical and not disclosing the full cost of the vaccine which is around $1000 and also not disclosing that it probably would not be covered by our insurance company. We have repeatedly tried to contact his billing department and they do not answer their phone and do not return phone calls. We finally were able to speak to his front office supervisor and she was completely unwilling to compromise or help in any way.

Scheduled an appt as a new patient with the office. Showed up at sheduled time, Someone never entered my appt into the system. Dr said she couldn't see me, I would have to reschedule. Had to reschedule for 7:15 Friday morning because I was going to be out of blood pressure medication. Driving there Friday morning from East side of Columbus, ran into traffic. Called office to tell them I would be 15 minutes late, was told once again I would have to reschedule and there was nothing they could do to help me. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DR.
