Drove an hour, waited & waited, paid $14 parking, never seen..., Apr 17, 2013

Called for appointment, told 10:45 a.m. avail, I explained we had a 2 p.m. appointment same day over an hour away from her office. Let them decide if I should take the 10:45 a.m. appointment. They reassured me it would be fine. Waited 1 hr, 15 mins then asked how much longer. Told 3 patients in exam rooms had not been seen & no more exam rooms available (i.e. it would be quite awhile). Asked why so backed up and was told she was over booked (no emergencies causing back log). Drove 1 hour, paid $14 parking, had to leave for 2 p.m. appointment without being seen.

Dr. Jill Fichtel

Mislead about insurance co-pay and had to pay $350..., Apr 5, 2013

Went in for a mole consultation and got what I thought was included in my $40 co-pay (3 mole tests). 4 of their staff (including Dr. Fichtel) told me that the mole tests were "covered by insurance". Ended up getting a $350 bill for the testing. The situation went downhill from there...

I went to Dr. Fellenbaum after being referred to him by my previous GYN. I was having painful intercourse for 6+ months and it was causing my marrage to fall apart. I had been to 3 gyns before I saw Dr. Fellenbaum and was beginning to feel there was no hope. After 3-4 visits with Dr. Fellenbaum he was able to pinpoint what was causing the pain. We changed some medications and I was able to reconnect with my husband! Dr. Fellenbaum is very knowledgeable, but if I ever had a question that he did not have an answer to, he would reach out to his many contact across the US and have an answer for me by my next visit. He is simply a marriage saver and I can not thank him enough!!!

Doctor Masri leaves one wondering what planet he’s from regarding some of the questionable voodoo science he advocates and the dismissive attitude he takes to other specialists. He’s very big on advocating the use of a highly expensive allergy test that insurance companies won’t cover (that should clue you up) and which is largely discredited by allergy specialists and a medical community that sees it as outdated science that renders far too many false positives and verges on the kind of quackery one would normally associate with the more outrageous claims of some in the alternative medicine community. Dr. Masri also took it upon himself to render ‘expert’ opinion on a bowel condition I’ve had for some years and which he claimed was all down to allergies and diet, thus segueing into his advocacy for the testing process mentioned above. The views expressed ran contrary to every opinion I’ve been given by a number of gastroenterologists through the years regarding my condition and how I should treat it, but what was even more disturbing was the manner in which he tried convincing me to cancel my planned appointment for the periodic colonoscopy my condition requires to check for inflammation and any signs of cancer. All of this of course from a medical practitioner I’d made an appointment to see regarding a mole on my forehead that had given me cause for concern! To rub salt into the wound, a follow-up appointment to garner the results of a series of blood tests that were taken on my first visit showed that the clinic has as little respect for the time of its patients as it has for their intelligence when peddling garbage science. My appointment was for a little past 9 in the morning so I theoretically must have been one of the first patients for the day, yet 70 minutes later I had yet to see Dr. Masri, with no apology or explanation from the disinterested staff. I would not suggest doctor Joseph Hooper to anybody. I have never taken the time to write a review on a product or services of any kind before, but he will treat you with such disdain that I hope that no one ever has to suffer his treatment. He has only his experiences to base his life "opinions" on and if you are not someone with simple problems he has dealt with before, then you are wrong in his eyes and he will make a point to tell you. If you try and discuss your issues with him, he will tell you that you are just seeking special attention, that you are faking and he will talk down to you as if you were his child. If you try and make any retorts to his insults, he will then proceed to mumble insults under his breath right in front of you as if you are too stupid to know what he is doing. If you want to leave your doctor in tears or livid with anger, then by all means, go to him, but if you wanted to be treated with respect from your "care giver", then save yourself the grief and time and seek a different doctor. He told me that my psychiatric symptoms weren't real and upon realizing that I did need proper help, he very abrasively asked if I was going to kill myself and then told me I could find another doctor. That being said, I was always able to get either same day or next day appointments anytime I called and I can only assume, after reading similar reviews, that he just doesn't hold on to any of his patients and therefore his schedule is always open.
