Dr. Yamamoto has the WORST bedside manner, stay away if you have a real problem..., Sep 27, 2010 I'm a 34 year old mother/attorney. I saw her at patient first. She was immediately belittling, difficult to talk to, extremely unpleasant. She also gave me information that was incorrect and refused to give me antibiotics. We ended up spending $10,000 this year in health care costs from treating neurological lyme disease...and yes, I came in with the bulls eye rash and she kept saying "don't you know how little your chances are of having lyme disease." Two days later the right side of my face went paralyzed, and that was just the start of it. Here's a doctor who thinks if you there's a low chance you have something, then you don't have it. The disease became so bad I lost the ability to count past 38, move my fingers quickly, drive. A doctor like this should not be able to practice. Before I went to Dr. Yamamoto, I ran 3-4 miles 7 days a week, ate mostly organic, non-smoker, non-drinker, perfectly happy, healthy. She told me I was a "depressed girl with a headache." I kept referring her to the bulls eye throbbing and growing on my chest, from where I pulled out a deer tick six weeks prior. She said that was nothing.

Horrible waste of time, I will not be seeing her again..., May 15, 2012 Visiting Dr. Smith was pointless. She was unfriendly, acted as if she didn't care about me or helping me get better, and talked down to me as if I was stupid. She prescribed me a pill and told me absolutely nothing about it nor how to take it or when. She did not tell me that I would need to drink more water than normal due to a side effect of the prescription. She also told me to take an OTC that had absolutely nothing to do with my symptoms and in actuality, if I took the OTC, it would cause adverse effects. I left her office in tears and needed to ask the pharmacist for all the information she should have given me in the first place. I was very disappointed and upset with my visit with her. I will never see her again. |

Really wonderful surgeon and fantastic office staff...., Mar 18, 2012 Dr Goff is an excellent surgeon and she is also very kind and always takes time to explain things to me and discuss alternatives. She worked with my naturopath and combined standard medical therapy with alternative therapies and I am really grateful for the great care that she has given me. Her nurses, Holly and Heidi are simply the best in the world. |

They only care about your money, they over charge you ..., Feb 7, 2012 I went to visit the office to have my annual eye check. When I was in the office, everyone keep asking me if I have any friends or family need eye check. And I found out later that they charge me $50 just for putting a pair of contact lens into my eye. When I called, they said that this is just their practice, you don't have to come back. |

Provided extremely poor treatment for my father's cancer..., Jan 25, 2012 Dr. D. treated my dad's throat cancer (a term he never used with any of us). Dad responded very well to chemo and would have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. (His tumor in his neck had burst and he had a nasty wound that he had to deal with, but even it was doing well as he was switched to a milder chemo routine to keep the cancer from growing. And he was doing really well with that treatment.) Dad developed a knee infection and Dr. D stopped all treatment until knee doc released him. Dr. D continued to ignore my phone calls that dad's neck wound was really looking bad, saying he could do nothing for him at this time. Finally, knee doc suggested knee treatment be put on hold so cancer could be treated. So Dad went to see Dr. D and he still said there wasn't anything he could do right now, and he refused to look at his neck when asked to (of course, dad kept it bandaged). We brought dad to Louisville for treatment, but it was too late by then. The oncology doctors in Louisville were just mortified at his neck and the treatment he had received. They found it unimaginable that Dr. D. never looked at his neck (the actual cancer) and ignored his cancer treatment during the course of treatment of the knee infection (9 weeks approximately). Of course, we are heartbroken. I only tell my story in the hopes of helping someone else. In the end, dad regretted mine and my sister's pleas to get a second opinion in Louisville from the beginning. That one step could have changed everything. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice in choosing their oncologist. |

Dr Brening, Great and informative Dr. for Colposcopy and Pap Smears..., Dec 3, 2011 Dr. Brening is really nice, gentle, and I could tell he really cared about me as an individual. So hard to find Dr.'s that really care about their patients & will go the extra mile for them these days. This is my first time having a male Dr. and he made me feel totally comfortable during my exams. He calls me if he ever has questions regarding my medical history & took the time to get to know me and my problem, and is working on the best solution for ME. Great Doctor for SDSU students! |
