AWESOME Doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr Berdick!..., Apr 27, 2011 He has a very long wait time *even with an appt* however, he is very thorough, and will make sure you are on your way to feeling better in no time! Best part is he is sorta like an urgent care, so he can give you meds right there in the office. I had injections in my back for pain, but do not think he is just quick to give u a script. He had me do an MRI, nerve test, ecg, and bloodwork before anything

I trust Dr. Berdick implicitly! He seems gruff to some because..., Feb 20, 2010 I trust Dr. Berdick implicitly! He seems gruff to some because he is very no-nonsense, but he is very caring and I find his approach refreshing. His hours are phenomenal, especially for anyone who works. He is quite busy, so I highly recommend getting an appointment as early as possible (his office opens at 5:30 am!) if you need to get in and out. He will never let you leave his office unless he has done something to help you feel better.

A doctor that was willing to listen and help me with medications..., Jan 25, 2010 I recently ran out of the medication that had been prescribed when I was discharged from the army and was starting to feel depressed and on edge again. Dr. Berdick was recommended to me by a close friend. At my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the office was. His staff was extremely helpful and very nice to all of the patients. The doctor himself was even kind and understanding as I explained my situation. Afterward, he gave me another prescription for the same medication I had previously taken, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I would have no problem recommending Dr. Berdick to anyone who is looking for a family doctor.

Downhill fast since changes to office and move ..., Mar 7, 2013 Something has happened since he joined NYU. No one answers the phones, have to call for weeks just to get a response, long wait with doc spending no time with you. This is not the level of care or service people expect from a doctor. |

Very pleasant with my 10 y/o son. Will be back.................., Mar 6, 2013 Dr. Lazar was very attentive to my 10yr old son. He made a point to be funny with him so he would become more comfortable. He was very thorough and his office staff was very pleasant too. Love the playroom! |

Money hungry. Only in it for the Pharmecuetical kick-backs..., Feb 15, 2013 Poor monitoring of patients. Doctor Hemang Shah is simply a pill peddler with no concern of a patients well being. When patient has trouble due to medication the Doctor simply won't see them anymore. No concern of dangerous and debilitating after effects of drugs. Office staff will lie to protect him. AVOID THIS DOCTOR and his staff AT ALL COST ! |

Words cannot describe the feelings my family has towards this so-called doctor..., Jan 1, 2013 We saw this Dr. Erlacher in the ER of our local hospital. My 10 year old daughter came in with severe abdominal pain. I was worried that it may be her appendix. After waiting several hours he finally ordered an x-ray in which he saw a "blockage". He diagnosed her pain as constipation without looking further into this so-called blockage. Three days later we ended up in the ER of the nearest city's hospital. (We live in very rural area.) When the doctors there saw this "blockage" on the xray they did an Ct Scan and an ultrasound. She was in surgery within an hour. What this so-called doctor diagnosed as constipation was actually a 10cm cyst on her right ovary. The result was a salpingo-oophorectomy. Her right tube and ovary had to be removed. The surgeon who fixed her said if we had waited any longer it could have killed her. If Dr. Gray Erlacher had been more thorough and less "charismatic" my daughter would not have suffered for as long as she did. He's very lucky she survived. |
