Sorry to Leave them and Castro Valley. They ran a very nice practice...., Jan 18, 2011 I recently moved out of Castro Valley, and was sorry to leave Dr Rothman and Hee. Patti Hee was very thorough and did a great job keeping my goals in mind. Very courteous, knowledgable, and would have no trouble referring me to specialists when necessary. Sorry to have to find another practice in my new location, but would recommend them highly.

Helpful and interested inmy overall well being. I enjoy visiting with my doctor as they always treat..., Apr 9, 2010 I came in for a physical examination with my nurse practitioner Patti Hee. She is always so courteous and thorough. She went over my previous labs and then encouraged me to begin checking my blood sugar. She recommended that I visit a nutritionist and begin to assess my long term goals. Her caring and empathetic attitude allows me to feel free to be honest and forthcoming with all my problems and needs. Overall, my experience was great even though I have some medical issues that I am dealing with her helpful and encouraging attitude makes it much easier. I would definitely recommend this office to friends and have in the past.

Dishonest billing and a bad bed-side manner. Not recommended...., Apr 22, 2013 I suggest staying away from Reseda Family Medical Clinic run by Dr. Syrus Feridouni. I've never had such a horrifying experience with a doctor or clinic. 1. They bill $390 for just the doctor's visit not including any treatment. In comparison, West Oaks Urgent Care in Winnetka charges about $65. 2. They overbill for service even if you they say they take your insurance. My insurance refused to pay portions of the bill as they exceeded their contractual agreement. 3. Dr. Feridouni has a cruel bed side manner. When cleaning a wound on my daughter's palm which was extremely painful, he asked her if it hurt and when she said it did, he told her "no it doesn't". 4. I was incorrectly and over-billed for services received and when I attempted to resolve the matter by explaining to Dr. Feridouni (in a calm and polite manner) why the billing was incorrect, he started yelling at me, said if I didn't pay he would send me to collections and hung up the phone |

he has no time for post op care and will kick you to the curb..., Apr 12, 2013 his surgery on my wife got infected resulting in 4 days in the hospital, a week after she got out he said it was scar tissue, a week after that she called to say it still hurt, he said somethings not right a to see him in 6 days, i called to complain that 6 days is too long maybe we should go to the hospital, his office called back stating we would recieve a certified letter stating he would not provide her any more care and to find a new doctor, THEY THREW US TO THE CURB, he cut her, it got infected, so too bad find another doctor |

AMAZING, considerate, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, 10 out of 10!!..., Mar 22, 2013 I went to Dr. F for my 2nd baby. He was so caring and considerate. He did not make me feel bad asking questions and did not act like he expected me to know everything. He helped me get out of a bad situation to focus on my growing baby. Dr. Fellenbaum noticed that my son was getting big by ultrasound and started monitoring me more closely. I started dilating early, but never went in to labor on my own as I did with my first. When I was dilated to 4 for a week we opted to induce. The hospital was understaffed when I arrived for my induction, and he made sure that the hospital knew it was unacceptable to leave his patients laboring while unsupervised. He did a great job on my son's circumcision and got us home as soon as possible (26 hours after delivery to be exact!), which I was very thankful for! He is a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable doctor!!! |

Money hungry. Only in it for the Pharmecuetical kick-backs..., Feb 15, 2013 Poor monitoring of patients. Doctor Hemang Shah is simply a pill peddler with no concern of a patients well being. When patient has trouble due to medication the Doctor simply won't see them anymore. No concern of dangerous and debilitating after effects of drugs. Office staff will lie to protect him. AVOID THIS DOCTOR and his staff AT ALL COST ! |

It Doesn't Get Better Than This - Great Primary Care Doc..., Feb 7, 2013 Unbelievable find. In this day and age its amazing that a doctor like this one exists - one who actually spends TIME with you. I came away feeling like he actually cared about me and not that I was just one of thousands of patients he sees. He made the visit a pleasant experience... and I'm one of those people who hates to go the doctor. With Dr. Don, I can't wait to go back. He's fun just to shoot the breeze with, and even better is the fact that you come away confident that he knows what he's doing. And the staff is great. A fantastic doc. Highly recommended. |
