This is the rudest physician I've ever met. Find someone else!..., May 24, 2012

I've learned not to expect much from doctors, but even still, Robie was shocking. She's very cold and rude, and arrogant. She didn't listen to me at all, and interrupted me to argue with me. She has zero warmth, and her haughty attitude left me feeling much worse than when I came in. I hope I never have to see her again.
Failure to perform as agreed or to disclose pertinent information...., Apr 14, 2012

Dr. Calabria misled me as to the fact that he had never been sued by a patient (I have his e-mails to prove it). Had I known he had been successfully sued and was currently on probation, by the medical board, I would never have allowed him to operate on me. By Calabria’s own estimate, and that of other plastic surgeons, the procedures he was to perform on me: vertical face-lift, neck-lift, endoscopic forehead lift, lower eye-lid correction (blepharoplasty) and fat injections (volume restoration) to various places on my face; that I paid $41,000 for should have taken 8 to 9 hours to perform. He spent less than 5 hours on my procedures. Two of the procedures got infected. My left lower eyelid, seen to by Dr. Applebaum , and the right cut in my skull. The endosocopic cut had opened to such a degree that Calabria was to re-stitch it. He did not.” Rather than the “Vertical Facelift” I paid for he performed the One-Stitch procedure instead and left me with the scars to prove it. He also caused a lump on my cheek. He promised to eliminate this lump; he did not. My lower Eye-lids were to be done from the inside; he cut on the outside and stitched in my eyelids resulting in a chronic case of blepharitis.
excellent doctor for all ages options, reasonable ..., Feb 21, 2012

my 14 yr old daughter ripped her ACL off and he empathized with her and always had her best interest at heart. because her growth plates werent closed yet, he waited to do surgery to replace this absent ligament. also giving her the option to strength train to allow a possibility of no surgery at all. I am very pleased with him as a doctor and a person.he is very reasonable prices for the time he takes with every patient answering all the questions you have and explaining
Dr. Aldea Bamboozled Me, Don't Go to his practice!..., Jan 28, 2012

DO THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO SURGERY WITH DR. ALDEA: 1) Ask for the refund policy before you pay ANYTHING. You might not be provided the refund policy after you've paid the deposit. There are many outs for him not to return money if the surgery doesn't happen. 2) Don't be fooled by the good reviews out there. Some sites allow surgeons to only display the good reviews and not the negative ones. 3) Research to see if there are any lawsuits filed against him first. My experience with Dr. Aldea was NOT pleasant. He showed up 1 hr late for my surgery. Many of the nursing staff at St. Francis commented that he's frequently late and his surgeries always run over (which means you'll pay much more in the end!) On the OR table we both learned I had an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Aldea canceled the surgery but agreed to do it later if cardiac clearance was obtained. I got clearance which said that my condition was benign and to proceed with surgery as planned, but he never was satisfied, he found every excuse in the book not to do it. He dodged my calls for months! I wanted to get specifics from him on what he needed from the cardiologist. He kept having his patient coordinators say the same vague thing, "Dr. Aldea needs to know the surgery is safe for you." No cardiologist in their right mind will write "safe" in a letter. They will only say low-high risk. BTW 2 cardiologists wrote that I was low risk for the surgery and at no higher risk than a person who didn't have an irregular heartbeat. After many unreturned calls from Dr. Aldea, I got upset and asked for the truth and a refund if he didn't want to operate. He responded and said that I was ungrateful and here's your refund minus $750 deposit and he said that I didn't want the surgery. I responded that I did want the surgery but was tired of the run around and asked that he personally return a call so that we could clear up misunderstandings. His coordinator responded that he would not do the surgery until he got
LACK OF TRUST in REFERENCE TO DOCTOR MARK FALLICK...., Jan 9, 2012

I am over 60 years old and this Doctor has to the most ignorant person I have ever come in contact with. I had a procedure done by him and when I went for follow-up tests he claimed I still had a condition. I sought a 2nd and 3rd opinion and I was told the tests showed my condition no longer existed, so it is clear Dr. Fallick wanted to put me through additional pain just so he could bill me and my insurance company for extra money for a procedure that was not required, DOCTOR FALLICK that is FRAUD. BEWARE of this money hungry IGNORANT Doctor who in my opinion is a disgrace to the MEDICAL profession.
