  Misdiagnosis by Dr Larry Woodard My Daughters Story..., Feb 1, 2012

This Dr. Misdiagnosed my daughter with having the flu and did not run the proper tests needed for a proper diagnosis She was later properly diagnosed at another hospital with meningitis and encephalitis after having a spinal tab. because Encephalitis needs a prompt diagnosis for treatment to begin for recovery she was denied that chance and was put on life support died Thanksgiving day 2006. I hope her story will help other before choosing this Dr. at this hospital

Dr. Clark was/is an outstanding doctor. I went in to have my varicose veins checked, as they were causing me a great deal of pain. Dr. Clark was extremely knowledgeable, giving me lots of information about why varicose veins occur, how to relieve the pain and different treatment options. I am so glad I chose to see him. His office his great, his staff very friendly. Definitely go see Dr. Clark at Carolina Vascular!!!!

We are so grateful to have the first stroke specialist in Wichita, KS. Saves my mother's life. She is now doing so much better. Dr is very helpful, took an hour to talk and understand the problems and medical issues. Very knowledgable and excellent manners. I started going to Dr. Dunn 2 years ago when I found out I was pregnant. I had already had a miscarriage and ended up losing the next baby at 20 weeks due to Trisomy 13. I then had another miscarriage the next year. At this point I was 35 years old. After losing 3 babies, she just sent me on my merry way and told us to keep trying. I have not been able to conceive since that last miscarriage. Finally, this past January my husband and I decided on our own to seek further testing and possible treatment. It's a good thing we did because we just found out that I have a very low egg count, and I am premenopausal. I feel like Dr. Dunn should have suggested further testing after the last miscarriage a year ago, if not before that. From what I have heard from other people who have had to go to a fertility clinic, they're doctors referred them after a year or less of having problems conceiving or carrying (most of them are even younger than me). It seemed as if Dr. Dunn could care less whether we could or couldn't have a child. I do not recommend her at all.

Didn't like Tidwell AT ALL.Judy the NP was sweet but didn't agree with all her advice either.A couple of the office staff were nice including Kay,but receptionist Mina was extremely rude once I decided to leave Tidwell.At 34 weeks Tidwell started implying I might need to deliver early.The first "problem" was the baby wasn't showing sufficient weight gain.Then fluid in the sack seemed low.The next day it was fine.Then baby wasn't moving enough.Then baby showed signs of stress during contractions.Then baby's heartbeat didn't accelerate and stay accelereated during contractions.Every time I went something new was wrong,but the next day the issue would be resolved.VERY SUSPICIOUS!@ 36 weeks I switched to the midwives.I knew they wouldn't pressure me to have a c-section unless it was totally necessary!I had my baby at 38 weeks. He was completely healthy @ 7.1 lbs and 20 1/2 in.Thank you Jesus!Delivery took 4 1/2 hrs but I only pushed 45 minutes!I went all natural.No epidural or anything!My advice:have the courage to leave before it's too late!
