I went to Dr. Fellenbaum after being referred to him by my previous GYN. I was having painful intercourse for 6+ months and it was causing my marrage to fall apart. I had been to 3 gyns before I saw Dr. Fellenbaum and was beginning to feel there was no hope. After 3-4 visits with Dr. Fellenbaum he was able to pinpoint what was causing the pain. We changed some medications and I was able to reconnect with my husband! Dr. Fellenbaum is very knowledgeable, but if I ever had a question that he did not have an answer to, he would reach out to his many contact across the US and have an answer for me by my next visit. He is simply a marriage saver and I can not thank him enough!!!
Misdiagnosed my child Prescribed dangerous medication...., Feb 11, 2013
Wow. Character Limit. Sucks cause there is a lot to tell. I will make some points. 1) I had to guess my child's diagnostic and he would just agree with me. 2) Told me my child has pinworms when complaining about belly pain and constipation without even checking in a lab ( my child was later diagnosed at the ER with Encopresis ). 3) Prescribes Tylenol for everything from headaches to possibly cancer. 4) Call to make an appointment for lung check when my child had a severe flu but instead I was sent to the Pharmacy where a prescription will be sent. went to the Pharmacy and everything was Over the Counter.5)GI doctor requested a note in December from him. It is February and the GI never received it. 6) Called to get something for my son's cough. Transferred through three different receptionists ( one was chewing her food while on the phone with me).Got prescription for ASTHMA medication.Pharmacist asked me not to give my son the medication as it is dangerous.Encopresis+med=Renal Failure
Words cannot describe the feelings my family has towards this so-called doctor..., Jan 1, 2013
We saw this Dr. Erlacher in the ER of our local hospital. My 10 year old daughter came in with severe abdominal pain. I was worried that it may be her appendix. After waiting several hours he finally ordered an x-ray in which he saw a "blockage". He diagnosed her pain as constipation without looking further into this so-called blockage. Three days later we ended up in the ER of the nearest city's hospital. (We live in very rural area.) When the doctors there saw this "blockage" on the xray they did an Ct Scan and an ultrasound. She was in surgery within an hour. What this so-called doctor diagnosed as constipation was actually a 10cm cyst on her right ovary. The result was a salpingo-oophorectomy. Her right tube and ovary had to be removed. The surgeon who fixed her said if we had waited any longer it could have killed her. If Dr. Gray Erlacher had been more thorough and less "charismatic" my daughter would not have suffered for as long as she did. He's very lucky she survived.
Dr. Asher is the best ENT you'll find. She combines high intelligence with natural talent and a focu..., Dec 6, 2012
Dr. Asher has saved my life twice. My first visit to her office, she fixed a week of botched care from my former GP that had me in a very bad situation. A year later, she rushed to the hospital to stop my life-threatening bleeding. In every visit I've had with her, she's shown nothing but extreme competence, which I've found to be incredibly rare. Most doctors seem to just guess at the problem and toss out random pills. It's quite obvious Dr. Asher actually knows what she's doing and she's laser focused on getting things right the first time. She's actually fixed all my ENT problems so that now I only see her when I'm bringing someone else to her. She's also the first and only doctor I've ever recommended.
Bottom line: if you've gone 'round and 'round with other doctors trying to get your ENT problems fixed and you're ready to be done with it, make an appointment with Dr. Asher. You'll get more actual care in one visit with her than you've gotten everywhere else up 'til then.
