Great doctor! Lacks professional and knowledgeable office staff..., Feb 28, 2011

Dr. Coe is very helpful, knowledgeable and listens…even when I ramble about how I feel and why I think I feel that way. The office staff however is very unhelpful and very unprofessional. I had blood taken to be sent off for testing. Dr. Coe wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything else that could be wrong. I had the blood taken on Tuesday around 9 am. By Saturday, I still had not heard from the office. I called Saturday morning, because the lab is open on Saturday’s. I called the main number and I pressed the appropriate numbers to be transferred to the lab. The phone rang about 15 to 20 times and no one answered the phone. I called back on Tuesday and pressed the appropriate numbers for the lab. I was transferred and again, no one answered. I hung up, called back and pressed 1 to “schedule an appointment”. A lady answered and I told her I wanted to check the results of my lab work. She sat the phone down on the counter for about 30 seconds, picked up the phone and said, “It’s normal.” That was all the conversation consisted of. I had blood work completed one other time. The results from the lab were in and had been in for three days and no one in the office called me. I had to do a follow up appointment at a specialist’s office because of the results from the blood work. Dr. Coe’s office staff told me they would call the specialist and have the appointment set up for me and have all my files faxed over so everything the specialist needed would be there when I went in for the appointment. I go to the specialist’s office on the day Dr. Coe’s office staff had scheduled for me. The specialist had no idea why I was there because Dr. Coe’s office staff never sent any of my files over.

Very good doctor, not so good office staff, wait tim..., May 9, 2010

Dr Lori Coe in Rural Hall, NC, is a very good doctor. She is knowledgable, and always seems concerned and willing to listen to any issues you need to talk about. Her office staff is very unfriendly. They seem distracted and uninterested. Be prepared to wait, whether you are calling for a question for the nurse, or coming in to be seen

Disappointed with Dr. Brian S. Edkin's abandonment of care after so many mistakes..., Sep 23, 2011

Dr. Edkin performed 2 hip implants on my wife using the DePuy ASR implants. He did such a poor job on both that my wife never recovered from crippling pain, then he informed her that both of her implants had been recalled due to a high failure rate and poisoning from chromium and cobalt. He offered no apology, no remedy, and no advice. As soon as he felt she became a liability to his practice he basically dropped her. It took him 8 months after informing her of the implant recall and that she could be in danger of chromium and cobalt poisoning, to do a blood test for it and he found her metal levels were elevated. She has had these implants in her body for over 2 years. Aside from a test for infection he ran because of her constant crippling pain he basically told her “just give it time”. He never did the appropriate testing to discover her true condition. So we had to find another specialist and we did. They immediately ordered MRI, Bone Scan and Hip aspirations to determine her true condition, after which they replaced both implants correcting Dr. Edkin’s work. They found and removed significant damage of her soft tissue from chromium and cobalt ions. If we had continued to trust Dr. Edkin that damage would have only been getting worse, and who knows how long he would have let it go?

After numerous trips to Boston for specialized care for my son and his reoccurring knee problems, I came across Dr Lorusseau and his staff here on cape. After the initial evaluation and treatment session, my son was remarkably relieved of his pain and continues non evasive treatments from the Dr for continued improvement.
Very reliable doctor with good attitude and special attention..., Sep 6, 2011

Dr. Sam, as I call him, provides me with exellent health care for what I think is a fair price. Their practice charges a bit more to be a member of, but I certainly receive more than just compensation in attention and expertise. Dr. Sam's practice provides a standard of healthcare that all patients should have access to. I would like to see a tax rebate available for those of us who put in in more money for healthcare on top of insurance, but I won't hold my breath for that. Bottom line for me and my family is that we would not trust anyone else with our health and well being outiside of Dr. Sam's practice. We actually chose not to move out of Peoria mostly for this reason.
Dr. Snyder is a really good doctor, that really cares..., Aug 25, 2011

I take my two daughters to Dr. Snyder. She is very nice and shows that she really cares for the patients well being. I took my oldest daughter for a check up and gave her medicine for her acne, when I didn't even know it could be treated by a pediatrician.
