Kitty has sharp claws! Ouch!! Alpha Female Power itch..., Nov 23, 2011 I was having trouble with a physical therapist who had done a poor evaluation and was in a great deal of dysfunction and pain related to my spine/pelvis/hips. I was encouraged to see Shenk for a more in depth exam. My husband and I drove three hours to see her. She supported the P.T. entirely without doing a good exam and lectured me as if I were a naughty child. MOst of the appointment was me picking my jaw up off the floor because I was so shocked at her attitude. I was basically set up for more failures and the opportunity to regain function back to my spine and hips to a good level is LONG GONE! Shameful woman-doesn't seem to understand the definition of objective or compassion or thorough. Good luck!

Go some where else besides Pulmonary Associates. Lousy service..., Feb 2, 2012 His uncertified assistant does everything. Diagnoses you and prescribes medication. Then the Doctor comes in and does nothing. No check up or anything. All this after waiting 1 1/2 Hrs. in a room. Doctor compares everything to car parts. Must have been former mechanic. Doesn't explain anything. Just tell you that happens to everyone. Didn't bother to look at CT scan. |

Staff does not call to alert patients of problems. ..., Jan 19, 2012 After 5 years as a patient, I made one late payment. The payment was in excess of $100.00 despite my usual $40.00 co-pay. Maybe Dr Leon's staff didn't submit to Aetna. I paid anyway. Months later, they refused to renew a refill and told me that I needed to pay cash for appointments now. They never contacted me about this. Rather, they let me run out of medication and then refused to refill. I had to miss classes that day and find a new GI. My GP was nice enough to authorize enough medication over the phone (on good faith that my labs had been good lately, which they were) until the visit with my new GI. That was lucky, many GPs won't do that, and I am currently stuck with ASU's GPs. Dr Leon's actions were negligent and unethical. I am looking into what legalities this may violate, and will press charges. To this date, Dr Leon had shown himself to be a fine physician, but this incident is unforgivable. His staff had always been a little dodgy. One of his staff tole me she would talk to Dr Leon to see if he would use a little discretion in this instance. I doubt that she did. |

Very pleasant experience with Dr. Montalbano and Staff..., Dec 19, 2011 At this point in time I have not had any surgeries. I found out about Dr. Montalbano when I was searching for GHI doctors on the GHI website. Also when I consulted with a workers compensation attorney the told me about Dr. Montalbano’s website and credentials. I have to say my experience over all has been going well with Regional Orthopedics, although I am still experiencing some pain but this is due to the fact that I am waiting on workers comp. to be approved. After all is said and done I am very pleased so far with the staff at regional orthopedics and the staff at peak performance. |

Zafar Naqvi- Avoid at all cost! M.D. is inexperienced and unhelpful..., Dec 16, 2011 No information and no experience. Has made at least two mistakes for all 4 clients I work with. Unfortunatly this M.D. does not bring anything to the table. Good practice at UMass. Bad apple with Zafar Naqvi. Beware! Many mistakes |
