  Recent Visit to Mandi Griffin for Possible Strep Throat..., Mar 19, 2010

I recently had to visti my Nurse Practitioner, Mandi Griffin, for a possible case of strep throat. The receptionists in the lobby were not all that friendly, however the nurse who did my preliminary exam and strep test as well as Mandi Griffin herself were very friendly and helpful. My test came back positive and Mandi explained the medication she would be giving me as well as any interactions it may have with other medications. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.

  An Evaluation of Dr. Ivy Yu, OB/GYN with Kaiser Permanente...., May 30, 2010

After one appointment with my original OB/GYN with Kaiser Permanente, I was re-assigned to Dr. Ivy Yu. I had seen two previous OB/GYN's about my uterine fibroids and found no relief. Due to my youth I got the impression they felt I could tough out. After my first appointment with Dr. Yu she discussed all of my options in specific detail and answered my questions in terminology I understood. She was very kind and understanding. I eventually elected to have my uterine fibroids removed. Dr. Yu performed the procedure herself. The surgery went very well. I feel so much relief. I believe if it had not been for Ivy Yu's attentiveness, I would still be suffering from uterine fibroids.

Overall I really like Dr. Abeyta and would recommend her to a friend. In fact, another doctor I was visiting for a separate health issue recommended Dr. Abeyta to me. She is a very fit and friendly woman who doesn't make you wait in the cold office in a hospital gown for forever. Really the only issues I have with her are that she recommends drinking lots and lots of juice, as opposed to water, for electrolytes, which I'm not sure I totally agree with due to the large amount of sugar, and that she doesn't look carefully through my medical history. I feel like every time I see her, I am giving her the same information even though it's recorded in my file. My most recent visit with her was for a woman's annual, which is never pleasant, but she did a great job of making me feel more at ease with the procedures.

I really like Dr.Aronhime, she's helpful, open to natural medicine and alternative medicine. She treated me with respect and kindness. She reminded me a lot of my former doctor in Canada. I was looking for a good doctor who wouldn't just turn to antibiotics every time I went in with a problem, and she met my expectations. She is also aware of natural family planning, which I appreciated. I was excited to confirm my pregnancy in her office. I would recommend her to any of my friends, especially ones who are like minded.

I have been to this doctor's office before but I had never seen this doctor. Her name is Dr. Stevenson and she comes in like a little whirlwind but she knows her stuff so well that it doesn't take her long to figure out what your ailment is. I was in and out of there within an hour and I was a happy camper.

For the past several years, Dr. Gizzie has been a partner with my doctor. However, my doctor was in surgery, and I was having pain in my side as well as additional recognizable symptoms. However, from the moment I walked through the door, Dr. Gizzie was rude and unfriendly. She was obviously in a rush, made an unprofessional personal remark, and dismissed the idea of a miscarriage altogether (even though I have already had several and was well aware of the symptoms). Later that same day, my regular doctor confirmed through blood tests that I was pregnant; within a week, further blood tests confirmed that I did indeed have a miscarriage. I definitely would not recommend Dr. Gizzy to anyone.
