Friendly doctor who makes you feel comfortable, but wish she would allow more time for visits..., May 12, 2010 Overall I really like Dr. Abeyta and would recommend her to a friend. In fact, another doctor I was visiting for a separate health issue recommended Dr. Abeyta to me. She is a very fit and friendly woman who doesn't make you wait in the cold office in a hospital gown for forever. Really the only issues I have with her are that she recommends drinking lots and lots of juice, as opposed to water, for electrolytes, which I'm not sure I totally agree with due to the large amount of sugar, and that she doesn't look carefully through my medical history. I feel like every time I see her, I am giving her the same information even though it's recorded in my file. My most recent visit with her was for a woman's annual, which is never pleasant, but she did a great job of making me feel more at ease with the procedures.

Dr Betsy August........................... Horrible!..., Nov 29, 2011 I have seen Dr August a few times. Each time was unpleasant. Dr August does not take the time to listen to her patients nor does she help you with your concerns, and rushes right out of the room. Needless to say I will no longer be seeing her! |

PLEASE DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING Dr. Ronald Leo..., Nov 18, 2011 These comments are in no way, shape, or form meant as a bashing. This is only meant to communicate my experience with Dr. Ronald Leo over the last several years. It is my opinion that Dr Leo has very poor communication skills and is almost rude when asked for specific details regarding ill side effects and adverse reactions for treatments or medications he has presrcibed to me. On one occassion, he prescribed medication to me that I suffered moderate to severe side effects and when told about it he basically told me that it was all in my head. It seems everytime I have an appointment I spend most of it trying to prove that I am sick. When calling on the phone, I have always had to leave a message which is acceptable if you get a returned call in a timely manner which was very rare. I am disatisfied with the manner in which my health condition has been handled as well as the service he provides. I have requested to see another Dr in the same clinic which requires his consent but he would not give consent. There are 14 other Drs in this clinic that I am not able to use due to this and I now have to seek treatment elsewhere. |

Great heart doctor. When you consult him you feel you are talking with a friend. Highly recommended..., Sep 25, 2011 I first met Dr. Assad-Kottner in August of 2011. As soon as he entered the room I noticed something different. He was smiling, and genuinely seemed interested. He sat down, spoke with me without interrupting me like other doctors do so usually. He reviewed all of my medications and instead of adding more or increasing dosages he had a talk with me. He motivated me enough in order for me to try again what they always tell me "exercise eat healthier." So far in 2 months I have lost 6 lbs and will continue to do so. When you consult him it does not feel you are with a doctor, it feels you are speaking with a true friend which in my opinion is key. |

Worst Place I Have Ever Visited, I will Never Go Back..., Aug 23, 2011 The doctor does not apologize if she makes you wait, a common thing for doctors to do. However, if you are fifteen minutes late, she won't see you and makes you get a new appointment. The staff is also impolite. |
