  Fantastic Doctor! Made my pain vanish in two weeks!..., Feb 6, 2012

I've had pain from my sciatica for more than 10 years. Since I am allergic to most pain meds, I have been suffering for a long time. Dr. Mandyam got me back to walking upright after he did some injections. The best part was the injections didn't even hurt!

When I went to make an appointment, I was told that I was expected to pay between $200-$300 UP FRONT to see him because I do not have health insurance. When I explained that the number was completely asinine and I could not afford to pay that amount, the receptionist spoke down to me explaining that he "is a specialist and there are set value amounts for these things" that it "has to do with codes and other confusing things" that I just "didn't understand." This angered me, as I am currently waiting to sit for my RHIT accreditation through AHIMA, meaning that I DO understand and know how to code and bill for doctor's offices. Once I explained to her that I had never coded a chart for an office visit where a patient was required to pay $200 up front due to lack of insurance, she became annoyed and suggested I go elsewhere. I would NOT suggest Dr. Chadha or any of his associates at O'Reilly Medical Consultants because apparently money is more important to them than patient care.

This is a doctor with absolutely no follow through. She will write you prescriptions for anything and everything, but doesn't bother telling you about any potential side effects. Upon return visits, she doesn't even remember you or what meds. she's put you on. She's not very friendly and her staff is unwelcoming and rude!

She is smart as a whip, soft-spoken and kind. Every time I go to see her for my Botox she is wearing her pearls. I love to listen to her radio show on WSJS. Dr. Anne White in Winston-Salem is a class act.

Dr. Saltzman is always thorough in his testing, treatment and explanations; always answering my questions completely and understandably. When I was referred to and had a bad experience with another specialist, Dr. Saltzman immediately referred me to someone else with no questions asked, so that I would be comfortable and confident in that doctor as well. His care and concern are exemplary. I always feel safe under his care and that I'm getting the best care with no cut corners.
