Wish the hospital had not chosen him to do my emergency surgery...., Jan 16, 2012 Horrible! Does not listen to patient concerns. Does not allow patient options on how to treat and puts off treatment entirely too much. Does not believe in "pain" and ignores questions from families. Belittles patients. |

PLEASE DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING Dr. Ronald Leo..., Nov 18, 2011 These comments are in no way, shape, or form meant as a bashing. This is only meant to communicate my experience with Dr. Ronald Leo over the last several years. It is my opinion that Dr Leo has very poor communication skills and is almost rude when asked for specific details regarding ill side effects and adverse reactions for treatments or medications he has presrcibed to me. On one occassion, he prescribed medication to me that I suffered moderate to severe side effects and when told about it he basically told me that it was all in my head. It seems everytime I have an appointment I spend most of it trying to prove that I am sick. When calling on the phone, I have always had to leave a message which is acceptable if you get a returned call in a timely manner which was very rare. I am disatisfied with the manner in which my health condition has been handled as well as the service he provides. I have requested to see another Dr in the same clinic which requires his consent but he would not give consent. There are 14 other Drs in this clinic that I am not able to use due to this and I now have to seek treatment elsewhere. |

Healing wonderful exclent awesome fantastic joy peace..., Sep 22, 2011 Dr. Shah and his staff have a 6 yr realtionship with me. I ws not his most strat forward case to say the least. But when no one else would treat me there he was. With his warm smile and friendly bedside manner, telling me I was going to be ok. I went to Dr. not because I was in an accident, but because one morning I woke up and could not open my mouth, and I was in such pain that at that point giving birth to a baby elephant would have been easier, and less painful. By the time I seen Dr. I had lost over 80lbs because I was unalbe to open my mouth nothing was getting in and even water was hard to swallow. I had been in and out of the hospital several times and at one point doctors told me I would need a feeding tube. But then came Dr Shah, something in his eyes told me I was going to be saved, and here it is 6yrs later. I am 3months out of a complete replacement of the RT. Jaw and I feel FANTASTIC! I cried yesterday not in pain, but in joy. I eat my first apple in 6yrs! Dr Shah gave that to me. What a gift! I owe him and his wonderful staff so very much. There are no words but I will try. You gave me back my joy, sanity, smile and my life. I promise not to waste it. Many THANKS from the bottom of my heart Dr. Shah. |

Mohs Micrographic Technique doesn't equal Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon..., Aug 22, 2011 Dr. Mark L. Welch is just a dermatologist that has been trained in Mohs Micrographic technique. He is NOT a cosmetic plastic surgeon. If you want to improve your chances of a good cosmetic outcome, go to a real plastic surgeon to close the wound AFTER Mohs surgery, especially if the skin cancer is on your face. Do your research, don't rush. Dr. Welch never suggested a dual doctor approach (Mohs surgeon + plastic surgeon) during my pre-surgery consultation. I'm now searching for a plastic surgeon to perform a scar revision on my face. Dr. Welch did not appear concerned with my poor outcome. He needed to turn to a physicians directory to recommend a plastic surgeon (I would expect him to have the name of the plastic surgeon off the top of his head). Dr Welch never personally followed up to see how I was doing or even if I had the scar revision surgery. Also, his male assistant should learn to never tell a patient he will probably have cancer again. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Mark L. Welch. |
